I called KJ Appliance Repair after our dishwasher's water valve started leaking and I realized that was probably well past my general handiness, even with the guidance of the "fix it" dads who raised me (both IRL and on youtube).
Latanya, the scheduler, was immediately an absolute joy to speak with- so personable, kind, and commended my efforts- phenomenal! I knew I contacted the right team! She was able to fit us onto the same-day cancellation list, with a 3 hour arrival window starting at the end of our call. She asked for the model of the dishwasher so tech knew what to expect, and indicated the service diagnostic fee would apply to the repair if we went forward with it.
Within minutes, I received an appointment confirmation, and Kirk, the friendly and OUTSTANDING tech showed up about an hour later (with an accurate eta 20 min out). Kirk was extremely knowledgeable and able to diagnose the issue within minutes. He called back to the office, gave me a reasonable quote for parts & labor (and significantly better than the manufacturer!). and went to pick up the replacement part, estimating a 30 min return from the supply center. Kirk actually returned within about 15 minutes and fully repaired our dishwasher- all well within the estimated ARRIVAL window, which I think has never happened in the history of same-day repair requests.
We will definitely be calling KJ Appliance to request this marvelous duo for our inevitable next appliance repair needs. Thank you, Kirk and Latanya!!!
I called KJ after smelling gas coming from my stove. Kirk arrived shortly after I called and quickly found the source of the leak. He explained the issue thoroughly in terms I could understand. We will definitely use Kirk and KJ again!

This review is concerning a young lady named name Latoya I that works at k&j appliance repair. When I call there to ask if they repaired the maker of the stove that I have ,she checked it out and said yes . I asked her about a service fee and does that go towards the repair and parts and she also said yes very pleasant young lady. I then started to describe to her what was going on with my stove and she said they could help me with that and she could send someone out . She asked me for the model number of the stove and told me where to look for it on the stove , when I did find it , it was in a difficult place for me to try to take a picture of it with my phone , which that didn't work out . So I decided to get down on the floor and read the numbers out to her , the part about that is, I said Latonya please pray for me to get up off this floor , Cuz I need help and she started to pray for me , out loud . She is a very kind and compassionate person. And I can tell in her voice she has a kind spirit about her. All Representatives should have her type of personality .

Had some trouble with my washer… Easily set up an initial service call, and Kirk arrived within about 30 minutes after that. Kirk was very informative in diagnosing the issue, and he came back the next day with the right part and had my washer up and running without issue! Highly recommend!!!

KJ Appliance repair is a very professional company and a pleasure to deal with. From the first phone call to schedule the appointment , I felt like I was in good hands.
