It’s real. It’s great. It’s given us an opportunity we may not otherwise have had. We all receive way too much junk mail and spam calls. One letter arrived a month or so ago offering a lower rate and it looked too good to be true. But, I had extra time. I called and spoke with Chad. The rest is history. From start to finish it was a great experience. I get the skepticism, it’s healthy, but this was a real person with really cute dogs (if you know me —I want to know about your dogs too). I saw reviews just like this and wanted to call and speak to the authors and see their homes and get proof it was not a scam. I googled. I looked up their license numbers (lots of job hopping —but that’s how you get ahead these days. No longer do you stay with a company for 25-30 years like my grandfather did. It’s actually frowned upon). You stop changing jobs when you find a company that can be a home and a role that allows you to do the right thing. That’s Kinfolk. I’m as real as they come. I have a dog and two cats. Two human children and a husband too. If you’re done paying the big banks ridiculous fees and being nothing more than an account number with money, get in touch with Kinfolk. They are working hard to earn your business. Andrew Vega did an incredible job helping us through the home buying process!!! Out of all the lenders we shopped and received bids from, he brought us the lowest rate and the lowest cash to close - while also being professional, responsive, human, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process.
One thing I really appreciated was that he never made us feel talked down to or pressured. Some of the other people we interviewed honestly came across arrogant or overly ego-driven, and when you’re already navigating something as stressful as buying a home, having people like that involved just makes the experience harder.
Andrew was the opposite of that. He was patient, caring, communicative, and understood the human side of this process while still absolutely delivering on the numbers.
If you want not only the best rates and lowest close costs, but also someone who is responsible, kind, easy to talk to, and truly cares, these are your people. I genuinely could not recommend them more.

Like many companies, we send marketing offers to consumers who may benefit from reviewing their mortgage options. Some homeowners appreciate the information. Others choose to throw it away. Both are perfectly acceptable.
What isn't accurate is suggesting we "obscure" who the mail is from when our branding and disclosures are plainly visible throughout the piece.
