Eric and his staff perfectly orchestrated our transaction. They did most of the work and we did very little. It could not have gone any smoother. They helped us make decisions that were best for us and got us a great rate. They are all so friendly and helpful and never once were they frustrated by our questions. I worked with Scott Camara at Kinfolk Home Loans on mortgage for a condominium purchase in Phoenix this year. Scott presented multiple loan options to me, explained the features which might appeal to my family and let us choose the rate and terms that fit best.
What I enjoyed most was the friendly and collaborative approach he took. I was never pressured to sign anything prior to the loan commitment phase. He assigned a loan administrator who communicated through my preferred method of SMS which kept me informed and allowed me to not have to interrupt my work calendar for questions or updates related to the application.
Kinfolk Home Loans also coordinated well with my insurance agent and title company. The process stayed on track, we closed exactly as planned and I felt the service I received was second to none.
Following closing I received a personal thank you from Kinfolk for trusting them with my mortgage needs. I don't remember getting a follow up phone call from my last mortgage company, one of the big banks, which always left me feeling like I was just a number to them.
I have shared this experience with only my close friends until posting this review. And it goes without saying they will be my first phone call on our next purchase.
I worked with Alex Stahley on a a refinance after my 2-1 buy down finished. Alex and Kinfolk were great throughout the whole process. Even when hiccups occurred they took ownership and remedied everything. To me, the sign of a good company is not whether they make mistakes (we’re human) but if the company is accountable. In my opinion, Kinfolk and Alex are a shining example of professionalism and a great company. I will refer them to others.
I worked directly with Andrew Vega. I cannot say enough good things about Andrew. He worked diligently on my loan with consistent results. He fixed any issues that came up and made me feel confident in closing. He did not send me down a road that left me disappointed or confused. I appreciated his transparency and effective communication. I would definitely work with him and Kinfolk again.
