I could recommend this practice for its cleanliness, welcoming atmosphere and full range of treatments . These are explained in the video in the waiting area and this is very helpful before discussing treatment options with the dentist. Dr Shayan Akbari is an excellent dentist. He has now been my dentist for two years and I have had several procedures carried out which I have been very happy with. He explains the treatment options and prices before any procedure begins. He is very reassuring when carrying out any dental work. I recently had composite bonding on a lower front tooth and I was extremely pleased with the cosmetic procedure.

I hadn’t been to the dentist in years because of health anxiety, so I was really nervous about going back. Pauline and Morgan were incredible — patient, reassuring, and genuinely kind. They looked after me so well and made me feel completely at ease. The treatment was painless and really effective, and I left feeling relieved, grateful, and honestly amazed at how smoothly everything went. I’m so pleased with the care I received.

Ronan explained in detail the treatment plan, alleviated any concerns I had and made sure I was comfortable throughout. The final result exceeded my expectations - I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend Khush and Dr McCann for any dental treatment you might require. 10/10!

I had a first appointment check up with Dr Shayan today who had obviously read my medical background & arranged for me to be comfortably seated with head support accommodating my Spinal problems. His manner is very pleasant & reassuring & his dental expertise is first class & thorough with a gentle technique. Examination complete he did a scale & polish with every consideration given to rest the patient throughout. The lovely Assistant Tarin or Karen( apologies) was first class ensuring the water & debris was sucked away resulting in a pleasant experience. I was welcomed by a very nice receptionist (apologies not knowing her name) . The premises are spotlessly clean & warmly inviting & the treatment room is bright & very well equipped providing a buzz experience for an old lady. I'm absolutely delighted with this practice so conveniently sited in the centre of BB. Thank you to you all. Sandra Rutherford

I had a filling done with Dr Shayan Akbari recently. It was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. He was very kind and friendly and did a fantastic job. His nurse Tarin was great too and they work really well together and made it such a comfortable and fun experience. I look forward to my dental visits now knowing that I’m well taken care of here. Having knowing I needed quite a lot of work of dentistry poss due to my negligence. I therefore visited a few surgeries to enquire. Most were not giving me confidence. However, when I went for a consultation at Khush with Dr Shayan Akbari, my mindset changed.. On first meeting him, his professional attitude came through in a good way. I've attended Khush dental practice in Bishopbriggs recently, where I was treated by Dr Shayan Akbar. Dr Akbar explained in detail the timescale and dental work to be done. I am very pleased with the work done. The whole set up from the minute one enters the practice with Alison the receptionist greeting you and the punctuality of the appointment. Dr Akbar is a very confident practitioner, the process was very relaxing pain free. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Akbar. I’ve just finished my dental treatment with Khush. From start to finish my experience with the practice has been exceptional. Not only is it a beautiful, hi-tech practice but you are made welcome the minute you walk through the door. Anjum and Syma were amazing to deal with. Every step and option for my treatment was explained in detail before I proceeded. I was made aware of the pros and cons of all options for my treatment not only short term but long term. I chose a combination of bonding and implants and I am thrilled with the outcome. Anjum worked painstakingly to give me an amazing new smile and I am just thrilled with it. Thank you to all. I would highly recommend this practice, they are just fab.

I needed to see a dentist for health reasons and was extremely nervous as I had just had surgery two weeks before. I was seen by Dr Shayan Akbari who welcomed both myself and my husband into the surgery. Shayan put us at ease straight away, he actively listened was friendly, understanding, empathic and supported me in feeling safe and less anxious. Shayan ensured that we understood the work need and why. Shayan went the extra mile in consulting with my oncologist. Shayan did in three weeks what would normally be done in 3 months. I am extremely grateful to Shayan for his thoughtfulness, professionalism and his continued care and support. I now look forward to seeing him again in 6 months time. If you are looking for an outstanding dentist - look no further.

I’ve just completed treatment's at Khush Dental. Dr Shayan Akbar is my new dentist. He’s just fab and took excellent care of me… which at times was not easy. He talked through my treatment plan every step of the way, made sure I understood and was happy with everything he was doing. He has a lovely manner and is very patient. I’m so happy to recommend him. His dental nurse is fantastic too. A calming environment with relaxing music to take your mind off things. My treatments have now finished and tbh I miss my trips to Bishopbriggs. I’ve been at this dentist practice for years and always receive a warm welcome from all the staff. The practitioners here must be on commission. Having had 3 different dentists during my time registered, each one has told me I needed to get things done in a way that suggests it’s part of their service - only for me to find out that I owe them money at the end. The manner in which they discuss dental options is plainly geared towards higher cost sales as well - using the kind of techniques you’d expect in a car showroom, not from a registered practice. Not to mention them pushing their teeth whitening and cosmetic surgery options. Bouji decor for people on instagram who want cosmetic surgery rather than actual hard working people.
