We fished for 4 days and consistently came back with more fish than pretty much anyone else at the processing dock. Pretty impressive, especially since I’m not exactly a seasoned pro—he definitely could’ve caught even more if he wasn’t helping a newbie like me…
All in all, it was an awesome, authentic Alaskan adventure and easily one of the highlights of my trip to Ketchikan. Can’t recommend this charter enough—way above the standard you’ll find elsewhere.

My husband and I had the absolute best time fishing with Captain Grayson while on our honeymoon to Alaska in June! We were early in the season, but Grayson worked tirelessly to find us fish. We even did some sightseeing when I inevitably hurled over the side of the boat...

Best Fishing Experience

We arrived in Ketchikan on Sunday my husband and I not knowing where we were going to go out fishing tried before we left with no success our hotel driver mentioned a friend who had a charter named Tony I called him and told him what I was looking for he put me in touch with his boss Captain Lucas and we worked out a price captain Tony was on time and took us out to some great spots my husband and I caught 13 fish between us and what my husband didn’t know was I had something planned CT took us to a beach and I was able to purpose to my husband after 40 years he said yes and so right on that beautiful before God we vowed to love God and each other for another 40 years. It was beautiful thank you again for helping make this happen he then took us to some other spots with water falls and eagles the whole day was magical
4 hour Halibut Fishing
Joey was an awesome guide for us. Took a 4 hour trip during our cruise stopover. Would definitely go fishing with him again. We caught a massive Halibut, king crab, Rat fish, and rock fish. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to do half a day or full day fishing.

We had Tony as our captain, he was great. Not only did we limit out on halibut, we also caught cod. While we were fishing we had 5 whales around us the entire trip. It could not have been a better trip!

Lots of fun fishing!
We had a fantastic time on the water with Grayson! We caught 13 fish, a mix of halibut, cod, sable, and pollock. We sought them out for an opportunity to go out despite the rain, and Greyson proved an able captain and experienced fisherman. I highly recommend working with their team for your fishing trip!

A wonderful day! Questions were quickly answered by Lukas pretrip. Booking was easy. He gave instructions for our fishing license and where to meet. That morning had a text from Grayson confirming everything and making sure we were ready (he also recommended rain gear bc it was raining). Grayson was awesome! His goals were safety and fish. He would stay in calmer water or more rough - whichever we preferred. Took our fish to the dock and the shipping company took over. We had a great time and I highly recommend you book! Can’t wait to receive our fish, yum!

Cpt Tony war sehr nett und die Kommunikation war sehr gut.Allerdings gibt es hier kein „Dinner“ mit Wurst oder Lachs und es werden auch keine Adler gefüttert.Wir haben zum Schluss der Tour Orcas gesichtet..Aber insgesamt ist das sehr teuer, außer dass man wirklich allein auf dem Angelboot ist das nicht ultimativ und luxuriös.Trotzdem 4 Sterne für die Freundlichkeit und das gepflegte Boot aber bitte die Beschreibung überarbeiten !

It’s always fun spending time with friends and family on the water! Captain Tony was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I do not have much experience with fishing but with the tips and help given was able to catch quite a few fish. And the scenery was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this experience!

Lines Tight with Fish!
Had an awesome time out in the water with Captain Tony. Boat was very clean and the tour included the bait,tackle and reels for the whole group. Tony was very helpful in showing how the equipment worked and gave us tips throughout the charter on how to reel em in. We caught our limit on halibut, caught some cod and some snapper as well. Dropped the fish at off for processing and we were done with the charter right on schedule. Awesome experience and well worth the money. Thanks KFFC and thank you Captain Tony!

We were catching cod, rock fish and of course very nice halibut. We tore the fish up on August 28, 2025. Tony was so much fun and he truly made the entire trip for the 4 of us.
