My husband and I did the Resurrection Rafting which is advertised on the website and lasting 3-4 hours. Brandon was a great and knowledgeable guide and we had a nice experience but the price is a bit hefty for what you get. We just barely had made the experience three hours, but with 2 to 3 stops along the river, I would say we rafted Maybe for 1.5 hours maximum. Wouldn’t do it again or recommend this to a family or a friend

We do want to share a little context about the timing of this trip. Because river conditions can change daily and even hourly, the pace of the float often varies. Higher water levels can make the trip move faster, while lower flows can slow things down. You happened to join us just after a period of very heavy rain, which raised water levels and caused the river to move more quickly than usual. Conditions were still safe, but the higher flows may have shortened the time actually spent rafting. To balance this, our guides make intentional stops along the way to provide great viewpoints of the glacier and wildlife while providing chances for photos, so guests can fully enjoy the surrounding beauty—not just the time spent paddling.
We understand that expectations about timing are important, and we’ll continue working to make sure our trip descriptions and communication reflect those natural variables more clearly. Thank you again for your honest review—it helps us improve the experience for future guests.

The trip was terrific!! Jared did an excellent job with the 2 of us ladies! We saw eagles, glaciers, drank hot cider and most of all had fun!! Jared also took some candid pictures of us & the trip. I even enjoyed lifting the raft back out of the river & coordinated lifts up to the pull out loading location.

Derek was an awesome guide who really enjoys what he does! He was very kind and was more than happy to stop when anyone asked. He was also knowledgeable and dropped us off right at our bnb — it was an overall great experience! This is a must do, it is wonderful memory to have.

Excellent Experience! A Must Do
Derek was awesome, you could tell he enjoyed his job and was excited for people to experience this hike! The lunch he made was yummy and he was very kind and accommodating to when people wanted to stop for a breather too. He even dropped us off at our bnb instead of the drop off point (which was only a few blocks away). Overall amazing experience! Very happy to have done it.
We had an excellent rafting 3 hr experience down the Kenai River with Brandon. The weather cooperated with only a few sprinkles. He was so informative & fun to be with. We saw lots of Salmon swimming upstream. It was peaceful when we were in the calmer areas and fun & exilerating when we hit the class III waters. He was extremely knowledgeable and experienced in guiding. He nicely stressed the safety portion of this excursion for us. I could have rafted for hours more-I loved this adventure.

Did a helicopter glacier hike tour with Mary, she is an absolute treasure and was such a hoot to hike with. My wife and i truly enjoyed hanging out with her and seeing all of the cool sites on the glacier. Her passion and how stoked she was to be on the glacier made the trip that much better. If we didn't know better her excitement would have made me feel like it was her first trip out of the season when it was actually her last. Absolutely 10/10 company, organized and awesome. HIGHLY reccomend
