Straightforward booking by direct contact. Friendly greeting from front of house staff on arrival. Clear information given re keys, codes and room. Good value breakfast and located in convenient location 25 minutes from city centre and local attractions. With plenty of food and drink options close to hotel.

We left within five-ten minutes of arriving because there was a mouse in our room! We left immediately and demanded a full refund. We were travelling with a baby and arrived in the evening, so this was a major inconvenience for us. Also, from what we could tell from our very short stay, the room and ensuite were tired and dirty (dirty hand towel and towel rail; carpet coming away from the skirting boards). There was also a burning smell which we think was coming from one of the lamps. Only giving one star because zero isn't an option.

Great Value in a great location
Great location close to the Kelvingrove and Hunterian Museums. Walking distance from downtown area, but also very close to city bus links. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was small but had a good shower. Staff were all very warm and friendly. The area was quiet and the rooms were very well sound proofed. My only very small quibble would be with the breakfast which was a bit basic. However that is a very minor negative in an otherwise very positive experience.

Stayed here for the 5th time, we go with a group of friends to the C2C in the OVO Hydro, which is easy to walk to. Friendly staff, always a bit like coming home. Booked again for next year, highly recommended

Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful member of staff ( Joe) Very reasonable , fab breakfast and close to city centre . Only issue was the water hammer problem every time the toilet was flushed ., very loud . Room 17

Hotel staff are very accommodating and friendly. Lovely and clean. Comfy beds and great pillows . We had a quad room which was perfect for the four of us. (3 adults and a 3 year old). Ample tea /coffee etc. Great location as walking distance to the SEC. Good value for money.

We gem in heart of kelvinside
Small but lovely hotel, easy access to the city centre, the motorway, and kelvinside, huge cooked breakfast and staff were extremely friendly and helpful woud definitely stay there again.

Lovely little gem
The location was near the Kelvingrove Museum which was important for me. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the reception warm and welcoming (thank you Ryan). Breakfast was delicious. The only noise was from the fan in the bathroom and the old plumbing but everything worked fine.

Great Stay in a Lovely Hotel!
Recently booked two night stay to attend an event at the OVO Hydro. The location was easy to find. It is within walking distance of shops, entertainment and The OVO. The building itself is a charming old style, but on entry there is a more modern atmosphere. We stayed in a 3 person room, we had 3 single beds, all the amenities you would need and a bathroom. It was clean, tidy with character. The price we paid for the two nights was fair, and when booking was one of the cheaper hotels. So the fact it was as good as it was was a pleasant suprise. Our room was located on the lower ground, window facing out to a courtyard with pavement above, there was slight road noise, but nothing worth mentioning. We received a warm welcome from the guy on reception and the maintenance team who were also there at the time. We were able to check in stress free, our room was ready. We were contacted via email shortly after to check if everything was ok with our room which it was. And reception kindly acknowledged and checked we were ok daily. Overall it was a lovely stay, I would recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for the one night before an event at the SEC. Great wee hotel in an ideal location, friendly service from Ryan at reception, booked for a single room but very much appreciated the upgrade I was given. Will stay here again for future events. 👍
