Barbara is a national treasure! Barbara is a national treasure! Her hospitality and cooking skills are exquisite and her home is situated beautifully with amazing views when the the Ballycastle weather cooperates. My room had a comfortable bed with fantastic sheets and extra warm wool blankets if needed. The window bench/reading nook was delightful. The en suite bathroom had everything I needed and the shower had great water pressure and the hot water worked great. Consider yourself fortunate if you are able to book a stay at her B&B!

Our stay in Barbara's place was absolutely lovely. From booking to arrival, Barbara was always very quick to answer questions and able to accommodate our extra requests. The house is lovely decorated and in walking distance to Ballycastle. The surrounding area of North Mayo is spectacular. I would definitely recommend staying here. If we go back to Mayo I will try and stay here again. Thank you very much.

We had a lovely stay at Barbara's. The place suited perfectly our needs. We were out for most of the day and used the little kitchen to prepare breakfast and dinner. Barbara was super helpful getting us sorted. We're planning on coming back next year

Bis wir auf Barbara gewartet haben, hat uns Michel liebevoll mit Tee und Keksen versorgt. Der Umgang war total schön. Das Paar ist super nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich kann meine Gefühle gar nicht in Worte fassen. Menschlichkeit dieser zwei Menschen ist einfach nur bewundernswert. Die Lage des Hauses ist nah an Sehenswürdigkeiten und ist nur mit ein paar Minuten mit Auto zu erreichen. Das Zimmer sauber, genug Handtücher, bequemes Bett. Frühstück, vielfältig und lecker. Coming to Ballycastle hiking in a rainstorm, Barbara provided me a room on short notice, plus a warm meal late at night, which I highly appreciated. Very cozy rooms and friendly host.
