Thank you so much for the 5 star review Glenn. It was a pleasure working on your property in The Villages today. Pruning that Ligustrum and removing and pruning the tree along your back fence line to open up your view of the pasture was a rewarding project. Thank you again for your business and I look forward to working with you in the future on those Plant Health Care treatments.

I’m very meticulous about who is hired to perform complex tree removal tasks. Kats Tree Service was chosen to remove three large Chinaberry Trees because owner Katlin is an experienced professional, an educated ISA Certified Arborist, Florida licensed, and adequately insured, possessing all the necessary state-of-the-art equipment to perform such tree care tasks safely and responsibly. Kats Tree Service completed the project within the designated timeframe, for the accepted price, and to my complete satisfaction.

Was looking for an ISA Certified Arborist company that would not tear up my yard with huge equipment while trimming and removing a tree. Kats Tree Service was perfect with slim profile equipment. Extremely neat and polite to work with, would highly recommend them for any tree trimming or removal in the Fruitland Park area.
Thank you so much for the great review and recommendation, Keith! It was a pleasure working on your property in Fruitland Park. If you are looking for a certified arborist in Harbor Hills or Lady Lake, Florida, look no further! Kat’s Tree Service did an amazing job for me. I had two large oaks in the backyard that needed to be trimmed way back to make room for a new swimming pool and screen enclosure. During the initial consultation for an estimate, everything regarding the job was explained to me. And as an arborist Kat explained the importance of waiting a couple of months to avoid the extreme summer heat in order to reduce the stress on the trees due to the number of large branches that were to be removed. Pre-and post-work communication were excellent and, most importantly, Kat showed up when he said he would, did a great job, and the entire work area was cleaned of any debris. I am very satisfied with his work and would definitely call Kat again for any future needs.
Thank you so much for the detailed review, Ted! It was an absolute pleasure working with you on your project in Harbor Hills.
Proper tree care is all about timing—holding off until the extreme summer heat passed was crucial for protecting the long-term health of those big oaks while getting the clearance you needed for the new pool and screen enclosure.
Reliable communication, punctuality, and a spotless cleanup are things I take pride in on every single jobsite.
Enjoy your new outdoor space, and don't hesitate to reach out if you ever need anything else here in Lady Lake!

I found Kat to be very professional, honest and straightforward. He took his time and explained everything to me about the problem I was having. I would not hesitate to use his services.
Thanks so much, Betty! I'm glad the arborist assessment was helpful and gave you clear answers about your trees. Taking the time to explain the problem straightforwardly is what we strive for on every job in The Villages. We appreciate your support and look forward to working with you down the road!

Kats Tree Service is super professional and extremely prompt. I live in Fruitland Park, Florida and I needed an ISA Certified Arborist to perform a tree risk assessment on four trees on my property. I called three different companies for pricing of this service. One of them never called me back, another called me back 2 days later, acted like they didn't even want to provide me the service I was requesting and then gave me a ridiculously high price quote just for the assessment. Kat called me back very quickly, gave me an extremely fair price and set an appointment that worked with my restrictive schedule. He showed up promptly the very next morning and performed the assessment. He explained and advised everything concerning the trees and then provided to me a very detailed tree risk assessment report within a few hours on the same day. This is the most prompt and professional service that I have ever experienced from any service, company that would be involved with managing your property.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed review, Rodney! It was a pleasure working with you in Fruitland Park.
As an ISA Certified Arborist, my priority is always to provide prompt, thorough, and fair tree risk assessments so property owners have clear, actionable answers without the runaround or outrageous pricing. I'm glad I could work around your schedule and get that full report over to you quickly.
Thank you for trusting Kat's Tree Service with your property. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you ever need anything else for your trees!

I contacted Kats Tree Service because I moved into a mobile home in Leesburg, FL with a large tree canopy over it.
I knew I wanted a local company to Leesburg, FL with an ISA Certified Arborist like Kat to conduct a Tree Risk Assessment. After a comprehensive google search, I contacted Kats Tree Service in Leesburg, FL.
Every contact with Kats Tree Service was phenomenal!. I left my initial message on the Kats Tree Service website in the later afternoon and soon after he contacted me and we scheduled an appointment. He confirmed the appointment by text and email and he arrived right on time just as he stated and he immediately went to work and conducted a very comprehensive Tree Risk Assessment.
And as we walked thru the lawn area which has many trees - he educated me in a polite and comprehensive way and informed
Me that the problems that I thought were extreme and mentioned to him - he evaluated as we walked the property and I learned they were not extreme problems and they could be mitigated with out tree removal and for
Much less cost than I had thought. I received the written Tree Risk Assessment complete report just a few hours later that afternoon with his follow-up communication.
I have not had better service in any area of taking care of my home than I received from Kats Tree Service. I will need to mitigate my Tree Canopy and I will hire Kats Tree Service to conduct the mitigation because I know I will be getting the best possible tree service in the Leesburg - Lake County area. I’m very lucky I called Kat’s Tree Service. I’m also very grateful for Kat kindly sharing his knowledge and expertise and his just the right touch approach to My tree canopy issues with my new forever home.
Welcome to your new forever home in Leesburg, Walt!
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed and generous review. It was an absolute pleasure walking the property with you.
As an ISA Certified Arborist, my goal is always to provide honest science backed advice and save homeowners money whenever proper mitigation or pruning can safely replace an expensive removal.
I'm glad the written Tree Risk Assessment gave you clarity and peace of mind about your canopy. We look forward to helping you with the mitigation work whenever you're ready.

Kat and his team is very professional, communicative and everything was straightforward and as expected. Wonderful experience from the home owner perspective.

Todd Hooten2026.07.31
Kat's Tree Service utilizes an ISA Certified Arborist and I should have called them first rather than some company to top the tree as that has done irreparable damage and it is unlikely to survive due to my short sightedness. He was clear in his explanations and expectations when explaining things to me. The report he provided was thorough and clear. As I am embarrassed for not calling him first, he was quick to make sure he didn't deepen my embarrassment and put me at ease about it. He dint point fingers at me or the tree trimming company I hired. He has a "What's done is done. Let's focus on fixing it." approach which I very much appreciated. Highly recommend.
Thank you so much for the thoughtful and honest review, Todd! Please don't be hard on yourself, improper pruning and tree topping happen to many well-meaning homeowners who were simply misled by uncertified operators. Especially in The Villages.
As an ISA Certified Arborist, my goal is never to judge, but to give you clear science, honest answers, and a practical plan to protect your property moving forward. It was a true pleasure meeting with you, and we are always here whenever you need expert tree care, assessments, or future guidance. Thank you for trusting Kat’s Tree Service!

We had a wonderful experience with Kat's Tree Service. The team was professional, courteous, and incredibly friendly throughout the entire process. We have a palm tree that needed the attention of a certified tree arborist, and we're so glad we found them. They took the time to thoroughly assess the palm, explain the maintenance it needed, and answer all of our questions. After trimming it, our palm looks healthy, well-maintained, and beautifully complements the neighborhood. We highly recommend Kat's for anyone looking for knowledgeable and trustworthy tree care in Lady Lake or the surrounding areas.
Thank you so much for the fantastic review, Kristen 😊 Since Harbor Hills is right in our backyard, it’s always a special pleasure working so close to home. That mature palm cleaned up amazingly—clearing off those heavy dead fronds and removing the seed pods while preserving the full, healthy green canopy made an immediate difference in your curb appeal.
As an ISA Certified Arborist, properly assessing tree health before making a single cut is always my top priority. We truly appreciate your trust in Kat's Tree Service and are so proud to serve our Harbor Hills neighbors in Lady Lake! 🌴
Tracey McLean2026.07.06
Really helpful, insightful and knowledgeable! Was prompt, courteous and answered all questions before giving a very reason quote.
Hi Tracey! Thank you so much for the 5-star review and for highlighting our team's communication. We take great pride in being prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous from the very first quote down to the actual field work. We had Kat come out to assess a failing Maple tree in our front yard. The company was easy to get a hold of and Kat came out the next day. He was able to diagnose the problem, explain what was happening and, the steps we needed to take to hopefully save the tree. KAT is a certified, licensed and insured arborist. I highly recommend this company for all your tree needs.
At Kat’s Tree Service, we always prioritize tree health and preservation whenever possible, so I'm incredibly glad we could get out to your Lady Lake property the very next day for a tree risk assessment of your front-yard Maple. Maple trees can be resilient if you catch their biological or structural stressors early, and explaining the 'why' behind a diagnosis is just part of our commitment to proper tree care.
As an ISA Certified Arborist, providing clear, licensed, and fully insured guidance is exactly how we ensure our neighbors get the right plan without any unnecessary guesswork.
We truly appreciate your high recommendation! If you ever need anything else or want us to check back in on those preservation steps down the road, just give us a shout. 🍁🪓

"I needed some major tree trimming to protect neighboring property from hanging blanches.
Kats Tree Service did an excellent job.The team is highly knowledgeable and respectful of the trees and surrounding property. All debris cleaned up. The company was on time for original estimate and the day of job, including be walked through everything. Worth every penny."
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review!
It was an absolute pleasure working with you out in Weirsdale. Trimming back major branches to protect a neighboring property line requires a careful, strategic approach—you want to clear the hazard and property risk without sacrificing the long-term health and structural balance of the tree.
I'm really glad you appreciated the thorough walk-through before we got started. As an ISA Certified Arborist, I believe that clear communication and explaining the 'why' behind our cuts is just as important as the climbing and cutting itself. Our small crew takes massive pride in showing up exactly when we say we will, respecting your property, and executing a spotless clean-up so you don't have to lift a finger when we leave.
Thank you for trusting Kats Tree Service with your home and your trees. We truly appreciate your business and your recommendation! 🙏🌳

Kat came out and not only trimmed our 4 palm trees, but also worked around the roots to improve their health - removed the rock cover, and broke up an area around the roots to allow healthier root growth an applied bark mulch. We would recommend.
Thank you so much for the wonderful review and recommendation, John! Palm tree trimming and structural care are essential out here in The Villages. Replacing that heavy, heat-trapping rock cover with a clean, open ring of organic bark mulch is going to make a massive difference for their root systems and overall vitality. It was an absolute pleasure working on your property. If you or your neighbors ever need any expert tree care or trimming in the future, we're always right down the road!

Kat is very professional and super easy to work with. He came to our property to examine our mature orchid tree. The tree was beautiful (in full bloom just before the cold hit) but not cold-tolerant and could not withstand the hard freeze of 2026.
Kat is an excellent arborist. He was quite helpful in understanding the nuances of growing trees in Florida. He offerred us several solutions ranging from salvage methods to complete removal. We highly recommend him!
Thank you so much for the thoughtful review and recommendation! It was a pleasure meeting with you in Lady Lake and evaluating your orchid tree. Unfortunately, the hard freeze we experienced in 2026 was extremely damaging to many tropical and subtropical species throughout Central Florida. I’m glad I could help explain the situation and walk through the available options, from possible recovery efforts to removal considerations. As an ISA Certified Arborist, I always want homeowners to fully understand the health, limitations, and long-term outlook of their trees so they can make the best decision for their property. Thank you again for your trust and kind words—we’re always here if you need anything in the future!

I highly recommend Kat's Tree Service, LLC. I called four different companies, and Kat's Tree Service, LLC was the only one that returned my call and within an hour. They came out the very next day to provide me with an estimate. The owner is ISA certified, and he thoroughly explained the entire process as well as the overall health of my trees. The communication was great throughout the entire project, and pricing was very fair. They are professional and provide great service. I will definitely use them again.
Thank you so much for the thoughtful review and recommendation! It was a pleasure working with you out in Harbor Hills. We’re glad we could help properly prune the large oak trees while also providing a thorough evaluation of their overall health and structure. As an ISA Certified Arborist, we believe communication and education are just as important as the work itself, so we truly appreciate you recognizing that. Thank you again for trusting Kat’s Tree Service with your property—we look forward to helping you again in the future!
