A small family winery and bistro. It was one of the best meals we had on our trip!
The service was hospitable and welcoming. The food was absolutely great and we loved the beautiful serving - every dish seemed like a work of art!
Highly recommend to try the chicken soup, beetroot soup, emo liver (what a surprise!) and the beef cheeks which was devine!
Give this beautiful place a visit if you're around - worth checking if it's open before arrival since it's open only a few days a week.

Ajánlásra házassági évforduló alkalmából választottuk ezt az éttermet Mádon, ami inkább borbisztró, de nemhiába kapott nemrég két séfsapkát a Gault &Millaut étterem kalauz kritikusaitól. Nagyon erős volt az étel szortiment, nehéz volt választani. Leírhatatlan ízvilágot varázsolt a séf a tányérjainkra. Kardos Gábor tulajdonosnak ezúton is köszönjük az élményt, a jó hangulatot és további sikereket kívánunk! Remélem, hogy még találkozunk.
This is one of those places that makes it worth visiting the region just to visit it. We actually went to Mad just because of it. :) The food is absolutely amazing, and the menu changes depending of which ingredients they have that week. Additionally, Kardos is a winery, so expect pairings with their beautiful wines. The atmosphere is homey and the staff is super welcoming.
