1st night in Santorini and with a 4.9 rating, Kapilio Tavern was destined to be our 1st stop for an evening meal. We were welcomed with a smile from the greeter, a firm handshake, and a free shot. The menu of appetizers, drinks and main courses was robust. We startwd with grilled Talagani cheese w/ jam and olives. Local wine and beer to drink. The wife chose grilled octopus and I went with the meatballs in tomato sauce. Both were cooked beautifully. Our server, Giannis, finished the evening off with a complementary scopes of both vanilla and chocolate ice cream. I was even treated to another shot as I walked out the door. We were amazed by the food, drinks and most importantly the hospitality. 10 out 10. Highly recommend Kapilio Tavern to anyone vacationing here in Santorini. They will not disappoint! Yamas! We had an amazing experience! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the service was outstanding. A special thanks to Jani, who was our waiter. He was incredibly friendly, professional, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. We highly recommend this place and will definitely come back the next time we're in Santorini!
Greeted with a welcome shot for everyone in our party of age. Brought up to an amazing overlook. The staff was very helpful and kept coming in to check on us, even shifted us down a little when the sun changed position. The food and beverages we all selected were all amazing as well. If your ever in the area, take the leap and walk up the stairs!
Wonderful evening at Kapilio! The rooftop setting with sea views made for a really memorable dinner. Staff were so kind and welcoming throughout. We had fish mains, a starter, and wine — everything was fresh and well prepared. A lovely spot in Fira, highly recommend for a relaxed dinner with a view!
