Kevin was our waiter, and he provided friendly service. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, which made for a quiet atmosphere. The food was okay considering the prices; the standout dish was the baked seabream, which was beautifully cooked. We also tried the Kapara cheesecake, which I found a little overpriced.

The quality of the food was incredible. The flavours were intense and interesting and delicious ! The waiting staff were so attentive and helpful and friendly - all in all we had a most pleasurable dining experience for my birthday:) ambiance was welcoming…and the authentic and imaginative cuisine makes this now one of my favourite London restaurants ! We will be back !
Beautiful place with delicious, unusual small plates, combining flavors I have not seen like this before.
One of the best cured salmons I ever had. Not extremely salty and fishy as they often are. Mild and tender.

Visited Kapara in a group to have lunch.
The decor of the restaurant was very stylish and bright.
Unfortunately, the food was not great. My starter of squid was too dry as it had been chopped up in little pieces so it was overcooked.
The main of belly lamb did not taste any better.
The lamb was dry, the gravy was really watery and did not resemble a gravy and it did not taste of anything.
The potatoes were quite salty and again quite dry. To top it off, there was string left on the meat which had not been removed.
The only good thing was the veg.
The dessert of cheese cake was very dense, which was not to my liking.
I was not the only one who did not like the food. One of the party returned their lamb and opted for the chicken which they said was better.
Apparently, the aubergine starter was also good.
Kevin our server was great and very attentive, passing on our feedback to the necessary people.
It's a shame as the restaurant was lovely, but the food was a huge let down.

Our booking was from 17:45-19:15. At 18:55 we were told they needed the table back, and whilst we were enjoying ourselves and wanted another glass of wine, we accepted the bill and paid. My friend went to use bathroom before we left, and whilst she was in the toilet (at 19:05) they made me collect her coat/bag/phone and wait on her by the front door, as another booking was coming. We still had 10 minutes left on our booking, on what wasn’t a cheap meal. We’d ordered both food and alcohol, and we were literally thrown out within our booking slot, me standing like a clotheshorse by the door, because they’d either overbooked or sat us at the wrong table (neither our fault). It soured what was otherwise a nice evening. I won’t be returning.
