i cannot say enough good things about Josh. my husband was in hospital. as he was going to need to go back and forth to lab and doctors, he could come home until he had a way to get up and down stairs. i called josh and told him our situation. he got the whole process organized and did ordering, electrical, installation, and permitting in two weeks. the price was set. no hidden fees or anything. and a couple weeks into our usage one of the lifts froze. Josh came over that day. i had been doing a lot of reorganizing to set up a room for husband’s upcoming dialysis treatments. going up and down the stairs. Josh found a screw that fell out of one of my boxes of guitar parts had lodged itself into the workings and caused the stoppage. so it was on me. even so he wouldn’t charge for the call. he said he just wanted to make sure my husband didn’t miss a doctor’s appointment. also Ed, the electrician Josh sent to do the wiring was a great chill guy. really grateful. highly recommended.

Josh is the best. September of last year Josh installed a new control valve in my Motat elevator. The job he did far exceeded my expectations. The installation looks better than original and works perfectly. When the elevator developed a new problem I did not hesitate to call Josh. Josh was able to isolate the circuit and determine the problem in a matter of minutes. Josh is prompt, knowledgeable, reliable, patient in answering my questions and on budget. I am deeply appreciative and delighted with the exceptional service provided by Josh at JWS. Several months ago, Josh installed a chairlift for me, which significantly restored my independence. Among the four other service providers I contacted, Josh was the only one to promptly return my call and did so within ten minutes. He promptly visited the following day to provide an estimate, which I accepted and he had it installed within two weeks. Josh is an exceptional individual who embodies the true essence of customer service. This weekend, I encountered a problem and promptly contacted Josh, who was able to revolve it within minutes. Josh is the MAN! I had four quotes before JWS. Three of the four said they could not install a chairlift in the stairway for my disabled mom. One took 2 hours to discuss it (apparently acorn is paid by the hour) and then said he couldn’t do it. One said he could but it would cost me $25,000!!! In steps Josh! He came over and evaluated the stairway. He agreed it was definitely a super tricky, narrow stairway. He puzzled over it for about 15 to 20 minutes, then came up with a game plan! Not only did he give me a super reasonable quote, I had a friend who gave me her old Stair Chair and he used that to save me a bit of money! I thought we would have to lose the door on the top of the stairway but no! Josh saved it! It is super secure, and my mom is very comfortable in it. It’s even better than I would’ve pictured it. Josh is reliable, hard-working, reasonable, super smart, and does an amazing job at what he does. Josh and JWS Elevator are the best!

Josh, JWS Elevator owner, recently installed a 3 stop in our home. When our home was built, we allowed for elevator space and he was instrumental in assessing, with us, the prep work required prior to installation. Josh is an honest, reliable, competent, responsible accountable person and responds to customer's calls. He has years of experience, is technically and mechanically skilled about elevators/chair lift installations and maintenance. His on job site work organization and time management efficiency are hallmarks of his work ethic from planning to installation to final inspection. Josh has an established working relationship with Fox Valley Elevator Mfr. which insures their company product meets the customer's project. As homeowners, we researched the Seattle area thoroughly including visiting some elevator facilities. We are beyond satisfied and extremely happy with our elevator, but especially contracting with Josh. Highly highly recommend. If you are considering an elevator or chairlift installation, or simply need maintenance, without question Josh is the person to contact.

Our lift is about 8 yrs old, with a chronic problem. We had 2 other people out and quite frankly they did't know what they were doing. They did, however, know how to charge us. Result was the the lift quit working before thet got out of the yard (practically) and I felt conned again. We recently decided to try again and called JSW elevater. We were extremely surprised!! Josh was over in an hour!! He was familiar with our lift and got right to work. As he worked on our lift he described the issues with the lift and corrected them. (Btw, Cat hair is not a lifts friend.) Anyway we love this man, oh ya, say hi Josh!! Quick, knowledgeable, friendly and reasonable. If we need help again JSW Elevator is the place we will call!.

Josh fixed up our old Inclinator Elevette in one quick visit. I didn't call around as much I as probably should have if I wanted to know I got the cheapest price, but I like to hire competence -- and I could tell he knew these machines from what he said on the phone. I expect to call him again for servicing when needed.
