Our roof was leaking which resulted in water damage and resultant mold inside our walls. Johnny and Ed were the technicians that came out. I spoke to Jonathan who was very knowledgeable and communicated throughout the process. They were very thorough and opened the wall to ensure no further mold was growing. Quality work at a fair price. I would recommend to family and friends.

After the Palisades wildfire, I was devastated and did not know where to begin. The smoke and ash damage to my home was overwhelming and I worried my home would never be the same. Choosing JW Homecare to remediate my home was the best decision I could have made.
The owner, Jonathan Wagoner, answered my call the first time I called and was available, responsive and professional. He spent hours at my home before I hired him explaining the remediation process and gave me excellent advice regarding how to deal with my personal property and my insurance company. He was patient and accommodating every time I asked him to revise his bid (three times!) to either scale up or scale down the scope of work.
Once hired, Jonathan’s crew arrived on time and treated my home with care and respect. I had a good feeling about everyone on the crew from the moment I met them. Every time I came back to the house to check their progress, my expectations were exceeded. The crew was careful with my furniture, followed through on all my requests, stayed late and went above and beyond to ensure my home was properly cleaned and decontaminated.
After the house was remediated, Jonathan thoroughly documented all the fire damage that could not be cleaned so that I could prove the damage to my insurance company. He also had great resources he shared including a window contractor and environmental testing company I hired to retest the house for fire contaminants.
I recommend JW Homecare to anyone needing fire remediation. They are professional, trustworthy and genuinely care about their clients. The entire wildfire experience, from the fire to dealing with my insurance company, has been traumatic. Dealing with JW Homecare has been one of the few bright spots in an otherwise hellish experience.

After the devastating Palisades Fire in January 2025 damaged our home, we were overwhelmed and unsure where to begin. We interviewed a few of the big remediation companies, but were uncomfortable with their aggressive sales tactics and impersonal approach. After losing my home in a fire, their team went above and beyond to assist with the fire damage inspection, removal of personal items that were damaged during the fire, and navigating the overwhelming process. Jonathan was very professional, honest, and consistently quick to respond to every question I had.

I cannot tell you the amount of gratitude my husband and I have for Jonathan at JW Home Care.
As first time homeowners, we were really nervous about coming across water damage in the kitchen and had no idea where to turn and how to file a claim with our insurance. I called Jonathan as a second opinion, after the first company gave us a sketchy, unrealistic estimate and expectations for how the entire process could go.
Jonathan arrived same day, was courteous, professional and straight to the point. He was honest about the potential damage and at no time did he try to sell his services. It felt like I was getting professional advice from a friend. We decided to hire him and are beyond happy that we did.
Since the damage was extensive and our homeowners insurance would be involved, Jonathan also referred us to Patrick from Golden Cost Claims (also local) who helped guide us through the claims process and made sure we were adequately compensated for the necessary repairs. Something I definitely would not have been able to navigate confidently on my own.
Together, Jonathan and Patrick made our kitchen repairs almost effortless on our part. Jonathan kept us informed and updated at every turn and his team worked quickly and efficiently to restore our kitchen to so much better than it was before.
I cannot thank JW Home Care enough for the quality work and expert advice we received. Hiring him and his team on was the best decision we made in what could have otherwise become a disaster in repairs and a financial strain. Our home had significant smoke and structural damage from the Palisades fire. A friend recommended Jonathan and he has exceeded our expectations. Jonathan is extremely knowledgeable and professional with very strong communication skills. He works great with our insurance adjuster and his experience dealing with fire damage has been invaluable. We used JW Home Care for mold remediation as part of a shower leak. They were fast, professional and courteous and they did a great job! They also helped me complete the project by referring me to drywall contractors. Would use them again for sure.
