Bob was very professional and very friendly. I was able to use their service through a promotion at Lowe's, which made it very affordable. I'd guess the price would be higher than a lot of smaller operators but with that comes a level of professionalism you won't get other places.

Update 12/11: After sharing my concerns, I called Heritage’s support team and spoke with a supervisor who was proactive, understanding, and willing to discuss the service visit in detail. We went over what happened, what could have been handled differently, and how the experience served as a learning opportunity for both myself and Heritage. They worked to make the situation right and offered to follow up with the original annual inspection and cleaning service, which I genuinely appreciated.

I want to start by acknowledging that my boiler is original to my 1981 home, very old, and poorly maintained, so I understand issues can happen. We scheduled Heritage Home Service for a routine checkup after noticing exhaust fumes, and while the technician was kind, polite, and clearly concerned about safety, the appointment shifted quickly once he tested the safety relief valve—a pressure-release device that prevents unsafe pressure buildup—which failed to close. Instead of moving into the tune-up work we had scheduled, the focus turned to repairs: $493 for the relief valve, along with pointing out corrosion on the fast-fill/combination valve, bringing the potential total to nearly $1,800 before any maintenance had begun. His concern for the system seemed genuine, but the conversation moved very quickly into replacement estimates of $25,000–$30,000 with financing options, which felt overwhelming during what we expected to be a basic service call on a 5-degree day. I let him know I needed time and didn’t want to proceed with major repairs, and although he respected that, he still installed a new relief valve to get the system circulating again, which I appreciated. He mentioned the system was full of air but didn’t offer guidance, and I later bled the lines myself in under 30 minutes, which made me wish we had been given simple steps or alternatives. In the end, I paid about $500 for a visit that left the boiler mostly unchanged aside from a $20 valve, with the system still full of air that could put extra strain on the motor. While I understand labor costs and the challenges of working on a 40-year-old unit, the rapid shift from routine service to high repair costs and replacement talk left the experience feeling more reactive than supportive. The technician was professional and seemed to be doing his best within his guidelines, but for older systems, I think Heritage could take a more consumer-friendly approach; the value wasn’t there for us, and homeowners with aging boilers should be aware of how quickly costs can rise.

I converted from a propane fueled holding tank for my hot water to an electric hybrid heat pump water heater. Chris and Dan (plumbers) and Bryce (electrician) did an excellent job. Everything was done neatly and the materials and components used are well made. The crew showed up on time and were very respectful of my property. A shower valve was also replaced in my bathroom. I never heard of Heritage Home Service before and glad that they did my job. I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again in the future.

I called Heritage with an issue with the furnace, which has shut off several times over the past 12-18 months Several service calls have been made with no obvious problem identified. After yearly maintenance just 2 weeks ago it shut off again. Today Mike and Colton came snd spent several hours checking everything, and tentatively diagnosed a problem with the pump being thick and sludgy. They removed and cleaned the pump and reported it sounded better and ran easier. Hopefully this will work. They explained everything to me clearly and I appreciate their work. Hopefully no more shutoffs!
