Super journée dans le parc de Wilpattu avec au programme une multitude d’animaux : 2 léopards, 2 crocodiles, une famille d’éléphants, des mangoustes, des aigles etc. Le repas était délicieux. Kapila notre guide et le conducteur ont été géniaux, poussant même l’aventure dans des sentiers périlleux pour traquer le léopard. Merci beaucoup c’était vraiment un moment hors du temps
I had a great experience, got to saw all the sightings possible except for the bear 🐻, and that's okay. Our guide was very knowledgeable and honest. The safari jeep driver went above and beyond with his efforts.

Jungle Junction with Ash was the highlight of my entire trip. Our time in the park was valuable, Ash of course knew this and wanted to ensure the time was always best spent. Across the entire full day safari only short stops were spent with surrounding jeeps, the rest, was isolated freedom with Ash as our guide into more scenic, and wildlife dense spots. Any time we passed other groups they looked exhausted and bored, but our shared tour of 6 + Ash and our driver was lively the entire day, chatting, joking and sharing stories, Ash has a great sense of humour. We saw so many species, including of course the leopard, but so many other beautiful species as well, Ash both knew so much about the park and the animals, but was also an expert photographer.
If there is a safari to do in Sri Lanka it’s at Wilpattu, and if there’s a team to do it, it’s jungle junction, Thank you Ash you’re the Goat! Craig’s eyes will miss you, I’m sure, Cheers.
I had a great time on this safari. Ashan is a really knowledgeable guide, and both meals served were delicious. We saw a variety of animals: a leopard, bears, elephants, buffalo, crocodiles, deer and many more. All in all a great day!
I had a wonderful experience. We took the full day tour in a shared jeep. The guide (Ash) is very navigated, professional and well-informed about the wildlife living in the park. You will get breakfast, lunch, snacks and water. Thanks to Ash we had the chance to see all the animals from leopard to the bears. Really recommended.

I had a great experience in the Wilpattu National Park thanks to Ash and the team at Jungle Junction. They made sure I got picked up on time, they prepared food and snacks to eat during the safari and they drove very safely with respect for the animals.
I had a lot of fun during my trip got to see a leopard, we had a real cool guide (Ash) who was really good at spotting animals and giving you the facts about them
Ash is a wonderful naturalist and super safari leader. He was very informative and really good at spotting animals. I liked seeing the birds and all the small animals but we also got really lucky to see a leopard. I thought it was good that he brought a big camera too so he got some good snaps. Ash knows the park well and we managed to avoid crowds and other jeeps. He made us laugh a lot and the vibe was fun too. Id highly reccomend a full day to increase your chances of seeing animals and remember to enjoy the small animals too :)
I did a shared, full day tour on the 30th August and it was amazing!!!! We saw 2 leopards, elephant and a number of other animals. Ash, our guide was amazing and ensured there was a good atmosphere for the whole day. The food provided was also amazing. I could not recommend this tour more to anyone!!
Nous avons fait le tour partagé avec Ash comme guide et nous n’aurions pas pu espérer mieux. Nous étions 4 avec en plus Ash et le conducteur qu’on remercie aussi chaudement. Nous avons pu voir tellement d’animaux ! Léopards, éléphant, ours, crocodile, tortue, langurs, macaques, cerfs et biches et plein d’oiseaux (j’ai pu ajouter une vingtaine d’espèces à ma liste, sans compter ceux que je connaissais déjà !), parmi eux : les 2 hornbills du parc, le junglefowl, plusieurs types d’aigles, plusieurs types d’échassiers, bulbul, barbet etc
Les repas étaient très bons aussi
Bref une journée incroyable dont on va se souvenir longtemps
Wir hatten ein tolle Safari mit Ash. Er holte uns morgens pünktlich ab, führte uns mit viel Wissen durch den Wilpattu Park und erklärte uns viele interessante Details über die Tierwelt. Abends brachte er uns dann in unser Hotel zurück. Alles war sehr professionell organisiert. Wir konnten den Preis für eine Ganztagestour durch das Cost sharing durch 5 Personen teilen und kamen auf ein wirklich gutes Angebot, verglichen mit anderen Anbietern. Der Park ist wunderschön, das Wetter war ideal, und die kleine Gruppe passte menschlich sehr gut zusammen. Ein wunderschöner Ausflug!

En tant que voyageuse solo, j'ai pu intégrer un petit groupe et nous sommes donc partis à trois personnes faire notre safari accompagnés de notre guide Ash et notre driver aguerri.
Nous avons vu des buffles d'eau, des cerfs, des crocodiles, des singes et d'inombrables magnifiques oiseaux. Pour finir par le clou du spectacle : un léopard ! Deux fois 😍
Grâce à leurs connaissances du parc national, notre driver s'est démené pour que l'on soit les premiers sur les spots potentiels d'observation. La chance était avec nous, les deux léopards sont passés très proches de nous.
Ash est un guide sympathique, agréable et rigolo ! Il nous a expliqué beaucoup de choses sur les animaux et a répondu à toutes nos questions. Il est intarissable sur les habitants du parc 🥰

we had an awesome day on safari with our guide, ash. we booked the full-day tour, and the pickup and other arrangements (food, water, binoculars) were very well organized. the early start was more than up for by sightings of two leopards and so many other animals in wilpattu :)
