UPDATE: JT Roofs gives back to the community each year by giving away new roofs. Jacob Coomer nominated Mom's house to the owners due to how decrepit her metal roof was and how much it was leaking. After they reviewed the nominations, Mom got a new roof last August! The whole team from owners, to sales folks, to project managers, to the roofers are phenomenal! The old, way-beyond-repair metal roof was torn off, wood laid to redeck the roof, and then Tamko Titan XT shingles laid! And we got to pick the color! It has been a blessing to get to know Jacob and the team, and we are so very appreciative of what they did for Mom!
We have been working with JT Roofs for a few months. My mother's roof is metal and VERY old. Also, one section of the house is two stories high. Jacob Coomer is our rep, and he and the team are doing everything they can to stave off the leaks, while keeping our expense within reason. We had another roofer up there a couple years ago, and that roofer basically stated the roof was too far gone and wasn't interested in trying to figure out exactly where that particular leak was coming from. Jacob, on the other hand, is very polite and professional, and a pleasure to work with.

The team installed new gutters with gutter guards on my home, and their work was absolutely outstanding. They were professional, efficient, and meticulous throughout the process. We had a porch built by JT Roofing in the Spring/Summer of 2025. We have enjoyed the finished project and now, so many months later, would like to share our experience of working with JT Roofing. This review is meant for anyone that is looking to add on a porch, deck or possibly a roof. JT Roof was referred to us from a close friend that had experienced working with JT Roofing.
JT Roofing designed and constructed a front porch addition with a covered black metal roof for us. The finished covered porch was approximately 29’ x 8’. The project did not start on time as planned. John Boeke, project manager, stayed in communication with us concerning the valid reason of the later start date. Once the project started, the work went very quickly and smoothly. The crew was made up of several construction team members worked together at a steady pace, very little chatter, presented a professional attitude at all times.
The construction crew took very few breaks, if any, unless the entire crew stopped for lunch or left work for the day. A few times during the project they worked until very late (sun going down) in the afternoon to finish up the day’s work. They took time to clean up the work space each and every day before leaving our property. We are pleased with the finished project and have enjoyed our long awaited porch addition.
There was one slight misunderstanding concerning the lay out directions of the front porch steps. I did not notice until the 3-4 lengthy steps were built and installed. I brought this to the attention to John Boeke immediately, once I saw the lay out of the steps. John appeared on the scene immediately; after talking with the crew members the steps were removed an installed as we had planned on the same day. The steps that were removed were actually very nice looking; they happened to not work with the plans we had in place for the final appearance and how the steps were going to be used upon completion.
In spite of a few minor hiccups along the way, we would definitely give JT Roofing a 5+ Star rating with 5 being the best rating. Thank you JT Roofing for helping life to be easier for us with our new covered porch addition to the front of our house, addressing all slight hiccups along with way immediately and with complete satisfaction.

I had my roof damaged in a hail storm last year and Johnathan stoped in and wanted to do a free estimate and had us sign a paper that allowed him to contact our insurance company. we made it clear at this time that we still weren’t sure which direction we were going to go. There was a lot of unnecessary back a fourth and poor communication that contributed to our decision to use a different company. After our roof was replaced by the other company, Johnathon reached out to us saying we owed him money. We asked for a a copy of the supposed contract we signed saying that we promised to pay a named amount of money. In return we got sent a a generic “terms and conditions” but no signature in sight nor had i ever seen the document. Johnathon then complained that we had wasted his time and he had made “countless” trips to my residence and spent “numerous” hours working on our “case” I feel like it’s worth mentioning that I didn’t reach out to Johnathon for this estimate- he showed up at my residence and approached me as I was doing yard work. Overall the entire experience just felt very unprofessional and shady.
