I needed a new roof so began the process of getting quotes. I started with the local recommendations which was an “interesting” experience and one that did not fill me with confidence! I then did a bit of research and discovered that I needed to comply with building regs and an NFRC registered company was what I needed.
I requested quotes from all of the local NFRC registered companies, but the one I felt most comfortable with and assured by was JR Roofing.
Josh was great at explaining what was required, made suggestions for other improvements (he knew I was going to be selling the house) and sent his drone up for a proper look. We discussed his findings and I agreed what works I wanted carried out.
The quote arrived quickly and I was pleasantly surprised as it was no more expensive than the local (non NFRC) companies, and actually a lot cheaper than one of them! It was a very detailed quote giving full detail for the works and some optional extras too.
In order to help me decide which tiles I wanted, I was sent some addresses of previous works showing different materials and colours, which was very helpful and made choosing easy.
My installation date was booked and I only had to wait a few weeks for the work to begin.
The scaffolding company had their work cut out due to a very large conservatory, but they did a great job (as confirmed by one of the roofing team) and provided a safe and secure working environment.
The team turned up at the time and date promised. They were all very polite and friendly and worked hard every day of the job despite some appalling weather conditions to contend with.
Comparing what I witnessed from this team against work done on other local houses, I could see the care and attention to detail that the JR Roofing team give to their work which is evident in the finished product.
Nothing was rushed, top quality materials are used and the finished product looks amazing.
At the end of each day, everything was cleaned and tidied away and left secure and the house watertight.
I had a full re-roof, chimney repointed, two dormers refurbished, three flat roofs recovered and replacement guttering all round, so it was a mammoth job for the team, but they have done a fantastic job and we are very happy with the end result.

Absolutely fantastic. They were so professional and clean. Started early, worked late. I just can't praise them enough. A great bunch of decent young men who really couldn't do enough for you. Will definatley use them again. And recommend them.

Very professional team, well organised, took pride in their work and kept us informed on progress each day. It was interesting to be shown how various parts of the roof are fixed together and how rainwater is channeled down to the gutter. The team were very polite and easy to talk with. We had a whole new roof, it's given our bungalow a more modern look. Thank you so much Josh and your highly skilled team including helpful office staff.

Josh was very friendly and helpful in advising what work needed doing, without any pressure. He took some drone photos to give me a clear view. The roofers were hard working and tidy, getting on with the job quietly. As they had been hampered by wet weather they even came out on Sunday to finish the job. Afterwards I received photos of the completed work from JR Roofing, clearly showing that they had done an excellent job.

From the very first point of contact, we couldn't fault JR Roofing. Absolutely flawless service.
Contactable, punctual, approachable, understanding and professional. We had concerns about the current state of our roof, but Josh took the time to properly explain what works were required (as well as what was already ok!) and alleviated the worries we had.
The admin team kept us well up to date on when the works would be carried out and the roofers delivered an outstanding job when the time came that looks like it'll stand us in good stead for years and years to come.
