Excellent work. Hard working, tidy and punctual. Would recommend Jon to anyone. He was done work on our house multiple times and each time no complaints as great work
Great experience with John and his team. He came out to provide a quote straight away and then work was done within the same week! All done to a high standard and a reasonable price. Would recommend.
John was recommended to me by a friend who had used him and gave him a glowing review. Could not have been happier with his workmanship. All three of them were polite and friendly.
John and his team turned up at 8:30 and got straight on with removing insulation. By 14:00 the loft had been re insulated, partially boarded and new loft hatch installed. Fantastic job done in very hot conditions, came down from the loft drenched. Loft looks great and no more heat escaping through a dodgy hatch.
Would have no hesitation recommending John.
Thanks John.
We cannot recommend John and his team highly enough.
They removed the spray foam from our loft, which is an incredibly dirty, painstaking and physically demanding job, especially in the intense heat they were working in. Despite the conditions, they worked tirelessly throughout, always with a smile and an exceptional level of professionalism.
John and every member of his team were friendly, polite, conscientious and incredibly hardworking. They took great care with our home, communicated brilliantly from start to finish, and kept us informed throughout the whole process. Nothing was too much trouble, and they consistently went the extra mile to make sure everything was done to the highest standard.
When they finished, we were amazed. The loft looked fantastic, and they had left everything absolutely spotless. Their attention to detail and pride in their work was evident in every aspect of the job.
If you're looking for a company to carry out work in your loft, don't hesitate to use John and his team. They are reliable, diligent, skilled and genuinely lovely people to have working in your home. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
A fantastic job done of removing and replacing loft insulation. Such a professional service, John and his team are super tidy, friendly, thorough and efficient. Highly recommended!
Professional / great communication / punctual / tidy. Done a great job with our loft which due to it's structural layout was no easy task

Thank you Steve and Maria for such kind words, all the best for the future John
We’ve worked with J Peacock Home Insulation for a number of years looking after their website and marketing, so we get to see the feedback they receive and the work they carry out across Essex on a regular basis.
They cover everything from loft insulation and loft boarding to spray foam removal and vermiculite removal, and one thing that always stands out is how many customers come back to them or recommend them to friends and family. That kind of repeat business only happens when a company genuinely does a good job.
Their team clearly take pride in their work and have built a really strong reputation around Chelmsford, Colchester and the surrounding areas. If you need loft insulation or loft boarding in Essex and want a company you can trust, they’re definitely worth speaking to!

Thank you Deborah much appreciated
Following a request for a quote, John made contact quickly and visited our premises. Following receipt of a quote to clear the loft, remove existing loft insulation and lay new 300mm insulation and fit a new loft ladder and loft hatch work started very quickly. 3 pleasant workers arrived at 9am shortly afterwards to start the work. They were considerate of our property and took care when covering the carpets on our hall stairs and landing. Rubbish from the loft was removed and taken away and the loft was hoovered before the new insulation was fitted. The work was completed by 3pm the same day.
The following morning one of the lights in a bedroom was not working. I contacted John who sent around an electrician the same morning to check the loft and sort. Sometimes when fitting new insulation the light connections can be disturbed. There was no delay in sorting this and John arranged.
I am very pleased with the attentive service provided and have no hesitation in recommending John Peacock Home Insulation Services Ltd.

Thank it was a pleasure working with you Thomas, happy new year 🥳
Great experience with John and his team, and would recommend them in a heartbeat. Professional, patient and really helpful when we hit numerous issues outside of their control which required multiple visits from the team without success and they still didn’t miss a beat. John clearly holds his company standards in high regard as the insulation, boarding and the custom metal loft hatch are all fitted perfectly.
The team was the only quote I got which covered the removal and refit of absolutely everything and his team didn’t waste any time sorting it. Thank you for for making a stressful experience a lot lot easier.

Thank you Ollie all the best in your new home mate 👍
Arranged to have 65m2 of vermiculite insulation removed. All homeowners: Look no further! They are the crew you need. They sucked it all out with a supersized vacuum with a 125mm diameter hose. Amazing, all gone in 3 hours…friendly crew, effective and efficient. Tidied up after they had been. Empty loft ready for new insulation. Brilliant result.
Jon is a real down to earth genuine guy. He and his team have completed an excellent job on our loft. His three guys were all hardworking, polite and left our property clean and tidy at the end of each day. Competitively priced, I highly recommend.

Thank you Adam all the best in your new home 👍
Superb service from Jonathon and his extremely hard working colleagues. They turned up very promptly this morning and worked solidly clearing out a very old, filthy and unloved loft. They then laid new insulation, to a modern standard, and laid out very secure and robust boarding that has made the loft into a usable storage space (see photos). I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone needing these sort of services. The pricing for an entire days work, new insulation & boarding, as well as removing all the offensive old loft materials and cleaning up after themslves was very reasonable. Thank you!!
