Colin and Trevor came today to repair a leaking shut off valve. They were on time, gave me some options, professional and completed the work quickly and efficiently. I would use them again next time I have a plumbing issue.

Trevor was great! Showed up within the booked window and called 20 minutes before arrival to let me know he was on the way. Was able to fix two issues in my house, and took the time to explain what I should look out for if any issues come up in the future. Was fast and efficient during the repairs and kept me updated throughout on what he was doing. Second time using “John the Plumber”, and would definitely recommend.

The 2 plumbers who visited were both very nice young professional gentlemen. They called ahead to ask if arriving early was OK by me. After inspecting the problem, they clearly explained the diagnosis and gave me options. When I chose the option for them to work on the problem right away, it didn't take them long to fix everything. I'm very satisfied and will call this company again for any other future plumbing issues.

What a great experience. I had a different plumbing company appt in the morning come in and quote me $1800+ to repair the piping under my double sink. My parents had the same repair done so we knew that rate was insane. Wish we called John the Plumber first because we got a same day appointment the guys showed up on time. Colin quoted me exactly what I was expecting to pay. They left got the parts took about 20mins to do the repair. Quick, efficient and fair. Will definitely be recommending these guys to friends and family!

Had to get a new kitchen sink and faucet installed. The guys that did the work were amazing! I was informed that some other work needed to be done given the age of the pipes etc. I was given the choice, but I had the pipes replaced given that the old homeowners threw massive amounts of grease down the drain. I was given future instructions to help clear my drain from the gentleman that were here. These guys are a great team and work very well together. They respected my property when handling tools etc. Cleaned as they worked! When they took out the old sink, there was debris. They cleaned and scrubbed before installing the new sink! I couldn't be happier! Thanks to you both! 😁

We had an amazing experience using John the Plumber! My sinks were clogging repeatedly, and it prohibited me from doing laundry / dishes for weeks, but I called John the Plumber and had an appointment for the next day.
Trevor came over and immediately assessed the issue, and used a very high quality motorized drain snake to unclog the whole pipe. He worked efficiently, and did a triple check to make SURE that the issue would be fixed. He provided a very fair price for top quality services.
I would 100% recommend John the Plumber to anyone who needs a plumbing fix. Great service, knowledgeable plumbers, and overall very efficient work.

*2026 update* Although I did have a poor experience, I will say I appreciated their commitment to following up and trying to make things right after the fact. Updating my rating to reflect that.

I had a small leak coming from a recent toilet install. I was quoted $299 for the repair with a 2-year warranty. Before starting, I overheard one technician question the other about the price he had given in a perplexed tone, which was the first red flag. Moments later, they informed me they had cracked and broken the toilet tank while tightening the bolts and told it would need to be replaced. Astonishingly, they still asked the full $299 payment, effectively charging me for not only not fixing the leak, but also breaking my toilet. I do not recommend.
