I can't say enough about John's Tuxedo shop. If you are in need of a rental for a wedding, or any other event this is the place to go. We were in town for a Black Tie wedding from Arkansas. I called them up on Thursday afternoon, told them we would be there Friday morning and they said no problem.
We showed up Friday morning at 10:05am.. and was immediately greeted by the staff. One gentleman took my son, and another took me for immediate measurements. They were fast and on top of their game.
We walked out of there 25 minutes later with tuxes in hand.
They are reasonably priced, and actually cheaper than the companies that rent online.

On a scale of 1 to 10, John’s Tuxedos is off the chart. I traveled all the way from Tallahassee to Metairie just to see them, and it was the smartest move I could’ve made. This was my first time ever needing to dress for a white tie event—truthfully, I didn't even know what that meant—but Andy was a lifesaver.
He took the time to walk me through every specific requirement for the Mardi Gras ball I was attending. Even though he could have easily taken advantage of my cluelessness, he went out of his way to be honest and didn't try to upsell me on anything. It’s clear that Andy cares more about establishing a returning customer than just making a quick sale. I’m now a customer for life!

I have been using John’s Tuxedos for years and my parents for their whole lives also. It is an heirloom business and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with our rentals for special events. They also have tons of cuff links, socks, jackets, t-shirts, and gifts for men. If you’re trying to find someone to rent a suit or tux from, this is the place for you. The service is impeccable, the guys know what they’re doing, they have seamstresses on site to make alterations for you while you wait for just a couple of minutes, and the entire experience is easy, calm, and nice all the way through. 5 stars! I only chose now to make a google review because my fiance just got his wedding tuxedo from them today and it reminded me of all the times I’ve been in there over the years.
