I had a total knee replacement 5 weeks ago and am recovering very well . I decided to go to Dr. Antoniou at the OrthoWestmount clinic after hearing about the great results a couple of my friends had with their surgery . Dr . Antoniou was very kind , professional , punctual and reassuring . The whole team was attentive , friendly, professional and supportive . From the time of my first contact with the clinic and all the phone calls and emails with information I felt very much prepared for my surgery . I am very happy I decided to go with Dr. Antoniou and his team . I probably need my other knee replaced as well and while I don't look forward to it I have no worries about going back again . It is worth not having the pain ! Thank-you Dr. Antoniou .
I am from NL, the wait was 3 1/2 yrs after have been on the list for a year. I needed my life back. Once I contacted his office about travelling for surgery things fell into place quickly. There was lots of correspondence and clarification on what would be done and the steps to make it happen. All the staff have been great. A very comfortable atmosphere and environment. The day of surgery you are met with your nurse, she took me inside for preparation. Very friendly and made it very relaxing as questions were asked. My IV was placed on the side of my hand which was new and very comfortable, quickly and easily done. The anesthesiologist helped me relax with the decision of spinal anesthesia, very friendly. My care in recovery was amazing, lots of attention and I was very comfortable. My second night was great as well, very professional, a beautiful atmosphere, the meals were delicious. The porters were great, friendly and very supportive. I was discharged on a Sunday and stayed at the hotel until Wednesday but should have stayed a couple more days because the flight home- which we had first class seats for more leg room, I highly recommend, was a little tough so anyone traveling give yourself a week if possible before flying home. I would recommend Dr Antoniou and his staff to anyone considering him for your surgeon. Exceptional service and teamwork. I am healing well with no complications. We are so glad we decided to go this route. Life is too short to be living in pain with limited mobility. I look forward to getting back to work and travelling again for vacation. Montreal is beautiful place to explore.

Dr Antoniou diagnosed my nerve issue immediately after seeing another orthopedic surgeon who was evasive and had me go through many proceedures having nothing to do with the real issue. After one year of consistent pain, I am now scheduled for a discectomy in the near future with a neurosurgeon. His staff was extremely competent and professional. I should have seen him a year ago and avoided unnecessary proce\edures. Thank you Dr. Antoniou!!
My total hip replacement turned out better than I expected. Dr. Antoniou and his team did a fantastic job. The experience was faultless. Everyone was so accommodating and really took care of me. Recovery has been good wth no medical issues at all. I couldn't be happier with the results.

I was bone on bone with terrible sharp pains, pain from bursitis and pain in my knee…from limping.
From the first call with Maria, I knew I was in great care.
Dr Antoniou and his team took amazing care of me. The nurse, anesthesiologist and doctor all phoned me prior to surgery, came to see me prior to surgery and as I was wheeled in to the OR, there they were.
Dr Antoniou came to see me after surgery, and again the next morning.
This is absolutely the best care for a patient undergoing replacement surgery.

Before my hip replacement, I had trouble walking and a lot of pain. Now I have had both hips done by Dr. Antoniou and it has totally improved my quality of life. He is a very kind, skilled surgeon and would like to thank him for giving me my life back!

I'm almost 66 years old and played soccer until was 63 when my right hip said stop. I thought i would never be able to walk again , but Dr.Antoniou gave me back the confidence and courage to keep running. No pain after the surgery. Dr. Antoniou and his team were fantastic. My wife was amazed when , three hours after the surgery , she saw me get out of bed and walk around without pain and joking. I cannot thank you the entire team and especially Dr Antoniou for their great care. I came from out west to get my hips done since I had lots of pain and waits were too long back home. I was hesitant at first to travel so far for surgery away from my family. But in the end I am so happy I did. Dr Antoniou has tons of experience and his credentials are insane. He is a full professor and as an academic myself I can tell you his CV is beyond. They are a well oiled machine and have many patients traveling from out west. They have every detail organized and everything is so smooth. I finally have my life back and I am so grateful. Don't hesitate it is so worth the trip ....
