Ignorant Aussie here. Thought I could apply for my visa on a Saturday afternoon, with my flight leaving on Monday morning.

It was my first time applying for the visa trough agency in Vietnam, I went 2 times before on my own until I found that my nationality is not accepted anymore for evisa, I thought I will be losing my flight tickets until I found Joey Visa Vietnam team, I applied on Tuesday for Visa on arrival and on Friday I got the visa. Some friends that had traveled to Vietnam told us that it takes a full three business days to process Visa paperwork. We booked over a week in advance and had not heard anything by the day of our flights. There was a national holiday/long weekend in Vietnam that we were completely unaware of that caused a delay in processing. We reached out to Joey the morning we were supposed to fly, a bit skeptical that things were going to work out. The airport was an hour away and we had been told that you HAD to have a hardcopy of the visa paperwork to take with you. Joey assured us that wasn't required, it was okay to make our way to the airport and that we'd get our documents on time. By the time we arrived at the airport we had 2/3rd's of the visa's we needed. While we were checking those people into the flight, the other 1/3 of the documents arrived, we were all able to check-in and fly when we planned to. All this happened in one morning for an early afternoon flight. Their charge was a bit steep $100 usd per person, but the cost of rearranging flights and accommodations would have been greater, so we elected to use this service.
I hope to plan further enough in advance no not have to use them again in the future, however, if I was in a pinch, I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to them for help. They were very responsive and saved us when we needed them most!

I reached out to Joey visa after having difficultly with the e-visa. I'm from an African country which is black-listed, so virtually impossible to get an e-visa. However, Joey visa made it possible to get a visa on arrival. I reached out early, so time was never a concern however I had the visa on arrival letter within 1 week. Once I arrived in Vietnam, there was someone waiting for me who assisted with getting a visa. Whole process took 15-20 minutes, super easy. I highly recommend reaching out to Joey Visa (esp. if you're from an African country)!
