I requested a consultation on Sunday evening, I heard from them first thing Monday morning. I explained what was happening with our electricity and they were 100% honest with me, they referred me to AES. Instead of having them come out to tell me they can't fix it or give me a false quote for their own benefit, they referred me to the source who could fix the problem. I've never been a customer of Joe Schmo, but this interaction guaranteed a future customer.

They replaced 3 light fixtures, replaced 2 ceiling fans, and added 2 ceiling fans where there were previously no light fixtures. They did a great job, at a reasonable price, and were knowledgeable and courteous!! I was so pleased with their work, I have scheduled some additional electrical upgrades I am doing in the house. I would highly recommend!!

These guys are the best at what they do. We've used them for three separate projects and every one was done well above our expectations. They are friendly, punctual and very knowledgeable. It does take some time to get someone out for estimates etc., but I guess that is what you would expect from a company that is always booked because they do the job and do it right the first time. One job was well under the quote as they were able to reuse some materials already onsite (rather than charge me for the entire job/parts and hide this). I highly recommend their services and will only use them in the future.

Joe Schmo was fantastic and I highly recommend! We had an issue with our dining room electrical, plus we have aluminum wiring. A competitors best recommendation was a total house re-wire for $32K, without even finding the problem! Joe Schmo found the problem and fixed the problem for a MORE than reasonable price. So happy with the service, having them out next week to install some ceiling lights in other rooms.

Did not use their services. Took a week to get someone to come out. The only positive is the electrician showed up on time. However, the Electrician couldn't figure out how to fix the problem. He told me he would talk with his boss, figure it out and email me a quote that night, worse case next day. Other. than him not knowing what he was doing, nice guy. Almost a week later they emailed me an estimate 3.5 times what other companies estimated. Plenty of other great electricians out there, don't go here.

Had Joe Schmo come out recently to replace an entryway light. While it didn’t end up working out (with the light), I wanted to share my experience. The technician that came out was very courteous of my home, extremely knowledgeable, and I felt he truly wanted to help. I had bought a light that was previously used. He gave me several options for installation and even checked the light for me to make sure it worked properly, even after I wouldn’t be installing. I was very impressed.

Had an amazing interaction with Hillary and a tech trying to figure out some wiring on a new home purchase. They were very quick to respond about my issue and even tried to squeeze me in when they had other bigger issues going on. They took my concerns seriously and went completely above and beyond.

We hired two home inspection companies and separate electrical and plumbing inspections when we bought our home. Joe Schmo found all electrical issues the home inspectors found plus an item. Later we had them replace our electrical panel. They installed installed the same brand (Siemens), but did it for significantly less, and they did a quality job as far as I can tell. Make sure to include them when gathering estimates for your next electrical project.

Hired Joe Schmo to rewire my house. I was disappointed when I saw how the wires were installed in my attic and crawlspace. The wires were just randomly strung up with no fasteners or any sort of cable dressing. In some areas they didn't even bother to cut the wires down to size so that I had wires laying on the ground in my crawlspace. Honestly, I think a home inspector would assume that a house flipper had rewired the house. The electricians that worked on my house obviously took little to no pride in their craftsmanship.

We came home from a weekend getaway to find the due to a fire/electrical situation across the street we had no power. AES told us to call an electrician because they thought it was an inside problem. The technician came in a good time frame and found that the problem was on the power company side. Then the power company said we needed a tag indicating everything was good to go. I called and spoke with Hilary in the office again. She said that we shouldn't need one and would call AES and get any information she could. She promptly called back and said we didn't need a tag and the power company guys were dispatched to our house and should arrive soon. Thanks for going the extra mile.
