AMAZING photographer!!! Could not recommend enough. This was my first headshot photoshoot and James was so helpful! I felt very comfortable, guided, and had a great time! Great pricing and hair / makeup was amazing. The pictures turned out to be everything I could ask for and the space was new, fresh, clean, and beautiful to be in! If I could give 6 stars I would!

Excellent photographer. He knows how to get a great shot with care, ease, and precision. His set-up is stellar, and his demeanor is wonderful. The hardest part was choosing which shot to go with! If you want a new headshot or portrait, I highly recommend James.

James Kern is a talented, intuitive photographer; laid back and friendly but also focused and professional. The photo session for my new headshots was fun, relaxed and productive. As an actor, my headshot is my calling card and it has to tell casting directors, agents, etc. who I am at first glance. And I'm happy to say—mission accomplished! Thank you, James. Tatyana (hair & make-up) was also a pleasure to work with and I got great results.

I made an appointment for professional headshots as well a boudoir shoot and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Hair and make-up was wonderful and working with James made the entire experience relaxing and enjoyable. Went for boudoir photos. The shoot was amazing and I felt comfortable being myself. I’ve never posed for photos before, but James coached me through the whole process. I got to see the photos as they were being shot to chose the styles I liked. 100% suggest! 10 out of 10!

Headshot Experience James Kern is one of the best photographers I came across in Philly. From our consultation until photo session day he made me feel at ease. I’m not a naturally photogenic person, but he set the whole welcoming vibe with my favorite music. His hospitality was amazing. For the quality the price was reasonable. I recommend him to anyone. I also give a shout-out to my MUA Aziza Walker who set each look off.

I hired James for my daughter's Quinceañera. James captured the most beautiful photos of my daughter and everyone at the party. I had such a great experience working with James. I’ve never been great at photos, but I needed to step out of my comfort zone in order to present myself better online so my hope was that I could find a photographer that who could help me reach this goal. After seeing James portfolio online, I had no doubt that he had all the expertise and technical skills of a professional photographer, but I think a big part of what makes him such an amazing photographer is being such a genuine person and making you feel comfortable enough to take great pictures. Whether it’s casual photos, headshots, event photos, I would recommend James without hesitation. He’s truly incredible at what he does.
