My initial contact with JHPServices Jamie was to fix a boiler slow pressure loss problem. Jamie and his team came out and made an assessment (which include tightening all connections, installing an external expansion tank and replacing some small parts, and adding leak sealant)for what could be causing the problem. I arranged for him to come back to complete the work. I also asked to replace an intermittent zone value, add a magnetic filter add put inhibitor into the system. Jammie came back with his team and performed all of the following. My boiler losing pressure problem disappeared along with the intermittent value problem. During the visit I also asked him about installing automatic balancing valves. Jamie returned on another day and added automatic balancing valves to all the radiators. With all the upgrades my system is working is running more efficiently and heating in my flat is more uniform. Initially I found out about Jamie JHPServices threw one of my neighbors who recommended him - I am very happy with the work he and his team have done and all of his recommendations.
2026 - Had JHP Services back for a Leaking kitchen faucet. Job completed quickly. At the same time they did our year boiler service.

Alex came by and installed isolation valves in kitchen and both bathrooms. He also installed a new faucet in the kitchen. The faucet was a last minute add on so I was very happy that he was able to include this work Arrived on time finished work on a timely manner and answered all our questions.Highly Recommend!

JHP Services have looked after the Heating and Plumbing of my modern townhouse in Edinburgh for ten years. I let out the house on a short term basis when not staying in the house myself. JHP carry out a routine annual boiler service and issue me with a Landlord's Gas Safety Certificate. This year Aaron additionally bled and check the radiator valves which noticeably improved the efficiency of the house heating. Thanks Aaron.
More importantly they are quick to react when I contact them with a heating or plumbing issue knowing that a prompt solution is essential when the house is being let out. An example - Last year I had a pipe to a mixer tap split and start to flood the utility room. I turned the water off at the stopcock, called JHP and later that day they arrived with and fitted a new mixer tap. You can’t ask for more.
I happily recommend them to others and my neighbour recently started to use them.
They are always personable and helpful when I contact them.

I had contact with JHP (Jamie) when British Gas were on strike and he came to the rescue. He saved me from an urgent boiler replacement following bad advice from another company. The boiler was good for another couple of years. It finally gave up so Jamie and co. were the obvious choice. They did a fantastic job to instal the new boiler which had to move from an internal utility cupboard to the bedroom. Hatches were required and all plasterwork was perfectly reinstated. The boiler works great and is 50% more efficient than the one it replaced.The installation was also so neat, I love it. A very professional and friendly team who almost work as a family. Highly recommend JHP.

I've used JHP plumbing both for servicing my boiler and on a separate occasion to resolve a hot water problem. They were efficient, came when expected, solved the problem and left everything clean and tidy. I have now signed up for maintenance contract.
