My son had purchased this for me as a Christmas present and the 3rd October was the first opportunity we had to take it. There is nearby accessible parking and the meeting point was easy to find. I can't remember the name of the man who met us but he was very friendly and helpful. We chose waterproof clothing and he helped us into life jackets and made sure we were all safe. I was helped onto the rib as I have mobility issues, this was done with no fuss which was brilliant. We then went out to sea which was unusually calm. The seals were beautiful and very relaxing to watch. The skipper (John I think), was very knowledgeable about the seals and he shared this with us. Nobody wanted to leave the seals and end the trip. This was a very well organised trip with two really nice guys. Thank you both for making this so easy and special for me. We will be back 🥰 xxx

We went out with Jet adventures on Saturday with just the most perfect weather and got to see plenty of seals. The chaps manning the boat were friendly and knowledgeable and we had an amazing time. They stayed respectfully back from the seals although some curious ones came closer. Binoculars or a camera with a good zoom gets you closer!

I went on the Scroby Sands Seal Watching trip and it was nothing short of amazing! Jack and John were very informative and friendly, made sure we were all safe and made the whole trip very relaxed. Saw lots of seals with an exhilarating ride there and back! Book yourself a trip, you wont be dissapointed!!

Loved this experience! Looked after by Jack and John who were lovely and very knowledgeable about the seals. Loved the boat ride across to the island and the saw lots of seals on the sand and in the sea around us. Then back to the harbour along the coast. We all enjoyed it immensely and would highly recommend!

a good safe trip wld have appreciated a sign to show where the meeting place was but found it eventully - enjoyed the trip was a bit apprehensive but felt safe with the crew and enjoyed it - good weather so jacket was adequate value for money and made a change from the usual seaside activities

Brilliant trip Well worth the price. Easy to book and attend. Beautiful views and felt safe at all times. The amount of time allocated for taking pictures and seeing the seals was perfect. The ride was exhilerating whilst still feeling relaxing at times. Will definitely book again.

Amazing trip, great value for money. The journey on the Jet Boat is exciting even when the sea is dead calm. The boat gets anchored near the seal colony and John gives us information about the seals. Thank you John, Jan and the other lovely new young lady (sorry I forget your name).

Excellent seal watching trip to Scroby sands. A great ride on a RIB and plenty of time to see seals when at anchor. Unless you have a really good camera it’s a good idea to take binoculars though in case those pesky seals don’t come close enough to the boat - glad I took mine today. Crew are friendly, helpful and informative. Definitely recommend.

Unexpectedly fascinating murder on a trawler Very very good. The mystery took you all over the boat, and gave a detailed understanding of the trawler, without it seeming like a lesson, just finding the clues. The boat trip to the wreck was also good taking me past places I would not usually see. Only caution is that the stairs are more like ladders. But staff were always there to lend a hand. Highly recommended.

Scroby Sands & the Seals Jet Boat Trip We returned to do the Scroby Sands Seal watching tour with Jet Adventures on Saturday and it didn’t disappoint! Luckily we took notice of the advice given, because although it was a lovely day……. we still got soaked but it didn’t matter as the tour operator had provided us with everything required to keep us warm and our own clothes remained mostly dry. We were given plenty of time to spend with loads of seals on the sandbanks, some of the inquisitive ones even came out to the boat to see us. John and Karl really looked after us well to make the trip both safe and enjoyable! Thanks again guys!

A disappointment. The directions sent us 30 minutes away from the actual pier. By the time we arrived, the boat had left! Parking was incredibly difficult. Their customer service needs to be more clear as to when to show up, where to park, and where to find a tiny sign as the rally point. You’ve got better luck finding a needle in a haystack than this establishment.

We’re really sorry you didn’t make the trip. We email detailed joining instructions 24 hours before every departure and ask passengers booked on our 12:00 trip to arrive at 11:30.

When you hadn’t arrived, we tried calling several times from 11:45. You answered at 11:50 and said you were five minutes away. At 12:00 you still hadn’t arrived, and our further call went unanswered. We waited until 12:10 but could not delay the other passengers any longer without knowing when you would arrive.

Someone on the quay later told us you arrived a few minutes after we departed. Had we known you were that close, we would have waited.

Even better than we hoped Very, very good. We are an aging couple who are a bit wobbly and we wondered whether we would be able to board easily. It was easy with marvellous help from the crew. The trip itself was great with a very knowledgeable description of what we saw. Even as people who live locally we learned a lot. Very well worth it - we may try their other offerings!
