I called Jefferson because my patio door lock broke and I was hoping it could be repaired instead of a costly replacement.
The first red flag was that the technician refused to provide the cost for a service call when I asked him directly when scheduling the appointment. Upon arrival, he disassembled my door and determined that he needed to order a replacement part.
This took him 15 minutes to determine. He recommended that I leave the lock uninstalled for several days until the new part arrived. He then informed me that I owed him $350 for his “work” and an exterior door that could no longer be shut.
Andrew was our technician who was kind enough to adjust his work schedule to accommodate my availability. Andrew was very efficient in diagnosing the lock issue, coming up with two possible resolutions and most importantly, putting his words into action and fixing the lock in a prompt and efficient manner. All is working great with the locks with all the praise justifiably attributable to Andrew’s knowledge, expertise and ability to fix the problem and communicate well with me. If anyone has a lock problem, please call Jefferson Locksmith’s for this is my first experience with them and will not be my last. Kudos and thanks Andrew!!
