Our membrane deck was badly damaged during cyclone Gabriele. This caused a lot of water damage to the room below the deck. Due to new building regulations it required a complete reconstruction of the deck with lowering of the ceiling in the down stairs room and lowering of the outside soffits. Four major building companies refused to assist with the repairs. Fortunately I was given Jason’s name. It was a four month project which presented numerous unforeseen and challenging problems. I can honestly say Jason and his team conquered every challenge successfully and left no stone untouched to solve the problem . I have to mention that I am one of those very annoying customers and not a day went by with me wanting to know where, why, what and when. Jason and his team was always there to answer and explain my in hindsight unnecessary concerns. Every stage of the new build was completed to a very high standard of excellence and precision. Jason kept us informed throughout the building process so we knew exactly what was happening and why. I also have to add that the sub contractors being used by Jason works to the same standard of expectation such as expected by Jason. Jason’s building knowledge and experience, his advice given and the team’s attention to detail can only be described as phenomenal. To Jason, Scott, Britney and Jade a massive big thank you for all your hard work. Be assured it is sincerely appreciated. I can definitely recommend Jason and his team for all your building requirements. I will definitely use Jason for future building projects. Albert and Fransie de la Hunt.
Massive thanks to Jason at JDC Contracting Katikati for coming to quote fixing our daughters window within a days notice, fixing it promptly once glass ready, educating and recommending the safety glass, and giving us knowledge about our window frames for retro glazing. We really appreciate everything and are so greatful for the professional, relaxed and down to earth manner. Even the communication was prompt, highly recommend.
What a great team! 5 months of renovations, whole house double glazed, new deck, new kitchen and bathroom what a journey and we’re absolutely delighted with the final results….Jason and his team were amazing, if you’re looking for a builder don’t look anywhere else we thoroughly recommend and wouldn’t have wanted any other builder working on our home, Jason organised everything, such a fabulous project manager, the attention to detail, the quality of the work, nothing was too big a problem, the patience and understanding to all our rookie questions 🤦♀️

We feel that Jason and his team are now part of our extended family, including Donna, Jason's much better half. Nothing was too much trouble, all questions were treated with respect. Job was achieved to a much higher standard than we anticipated. I would have no qualms about recommending JDC to others,
and have already done so.
Mind you I was sick of making them coffee every morning, and the sugar and milk they used was excessive.

Jason, Donna and Hayden have spent the last 6 weeks at our place building a front door landing, a huge deck, retaining wall, and fences. Jason provides precise quotes detailing materials required. Jason and his crew are professional at all times, friendly, and very easy to communicate with and have a laugh with. Jason's building work is skilled and his attention to detail is unparalleled. We had Jason come and build our new deck, we had our own design with Jason help and we put them together, and we are amaze of the final out come, the quality of work is 100%, Jason & his team work very hard to get everything 100% right for us which they did, we could not have asked for anyone better to build this deck for us.We will have Jason back again soon to do some more work for us this year. With the trades being as difficult as they are these days it was refreshing to find Jason who from day one understood our decking requirements. His quoting was precise and we found it easy to understand our options. And to say that we are happy with the final result would be an understatement.
