We’ve been using the Tabin POS for 6 months and it has good and bad points.
A few things to be wary of - if you have menu items that often have modifications (no onions, extra cheese, GF, etc) the docket text for the mods prints the same size as the item - creating sometimes long and hard to decipher dockets, or prints so tiny it’s hard to read. We pointed out this issue on day one and were told a software fix was underway. Six months later with us frequently asking for updates, there is still no fix with a medium sized mods font.
Also there is a major software glitch with when you over type and manually change the price of an item then add subsequent items to the order. Say you add a miscellaneous item manually priced for $5, if you then add a cheeseburger the miscellaneous item suddenly magically displays as $0 but is included in the total, then say you add another item like a drink, the miscellaneous item is then removed from the order total completely but still displays on the item list. This means any item that you change the price on or any miscellaneous item you add can only be the final item on the order or you are giving it away for free. Again after 6 months this glitch is not fixed which is frustrating.
Apart from snail pace software fixes, the rest of the product is good and the price is fair.
We've been using Tabin for over 2 years now and honestly can't imagine going back to anything else. The level of customisation is incredible - we can brand the kiosks with our colours and photos, customise dockets with large fonts and kitchen names, and they've even built custom features like takeaway container fees and age verification for alcohol.
The best part? We ditched Lightspeed completely when Tabin released their iOS POS app. Everything syncs perfectly between the kiosk and POS - no more headaches with third-party integrations or dealing with Doshii's constant issues. Having one system that handles everything from inventory to online orders has been a game changer.
What really sets them apart is the support. You actually talk to real people when you need help, not some chatbot. Nipoon, one of the owners, personally jumps in to solve problems super fast. It's refreshing to work with a company that genuinely cares about their customers.
My only gripe is the documentation for the back office could be better - sometimes you have to figure things out on your own or contact support for basic setup questions.
Overall, if you're looking for a POS system that actually adapts to your business instead of forcing you to adapt to it, definitely check out Tabin. Best decision we've made for our restaurant tech stack.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Nevil from Tabin Kiosks, and I can honestly say that my experience was nothing short of outstanding. Nevil’s professionalism and expertise really stood out from the get-go.
What struck me most about Nevil was his thoroughness. He took the time to really understand the intricacies of the matter and made sure every detail was addressed before moving forward. It’s clear he has an exceptional eye for detail, and no problem was too big or small for him to tackle.
Efficiency is another area where Nevil truly excels. From the initial consultation to the final implementation, he worked with such precision and speed without ever compromising on quality. It was refreshing to work with someone who not only knows the ins and outs of the system but also ensures things get done in a timely manner.
On top of his technical skills, Nevil’s communication is top-notch. He’s responsive, approachable, and always took the time to explain things in a way that made sense to me, even when diving into more complex aspects of the system. It’s rare to find someone so skilled who also has the patience to work through challenges with a client.
Overall, I would highly recommend both Nevil and Tabin Kiosks to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality service. Nevil’s dedication to his craft and his ability to deliver results efficiently make him a standout professional in the field. I look forward to working with him again in the future!

“Outstanding service and top-quality kiosks! We’ve been working with Tabin for our self-service kiosk needs, and I’m beyond impressed. The design is modern, easy to use, and incredibly reliable — our customers love the smooth ordering experience. Installation was quick, and their team provided excellent training and ongoing support. Since introducing Tabin kiosks, our sales have noticeably increased, and customer wait times have dropped. Highly recommend Tabin to any business wanting to modernise and grow!”
Worse Service, Never going to deal with this company and people again. Total waste of money.
Badly Disappointed. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Professional & able to take there time to explain Tabin's different solutions. I like that the software has been developed by the guy who owns it, so the software is customizable. Also do online ordering & QR codes for Table ordering too. The demo is quick, the answer the questions you have & give you an 'after demo' follow up email. What is really great is that you also get an agreement sent also so you can go through it in your own time.
A 100% owned SAAS company ( software as a solution ) no wonder I see more Tabin Kiosks around the country.
Great reliable hardware, easy to use software, super team at Tabin. Great value for money
Great service. Really helped address the staff shortages we faced
