Visited here this week and had the most amazing experience. I initially had a consultation about scalp bleaching but after a very professional discussion a different type of hair service was advised. Jackie then squeezed me in and delivered the most amazing hair colour. She made me blonde! My hair looks multi tonal, with lots of depth. I love it! Definitely recommend Jackie and the wonderful team at Jax.

I walked in to Jaxs a mess with grown out banded hair after having my daughter, they all took such great care of me and i just knew straight away i was in good hands, i was able to relax my whole service and results are amazing!! I feel human again! Thank you so much ladies! I will be back xxx

Jackie or one of the amazing team at Jaxs have been looking after my hair for more years than I can remember. The staff treat you like a member of their family and always go the extra mile to ensure you leave with beautifully coloured, cut and styled hair. Jackie guides me in my choices as I never know what I need, and I am always thrilled with the result. Thank you Jaxs.

It wasn’t very good. I asked for hair treatment cause my hair is really dry and that was the main reason for my visit. Hair treatment was for 3 min only and she used a serum anftet a wash and that they call hair treatment, and my hair was extremely dry after. The cut was also not very good, not noticeable at all she literally took 10 min to cut very long hair. Not thorough at all. I paid £75 for all of these and also bear in mind salon was in Croydon. I have done hair cut and treatment in Oxford Circus by a very famous hairdresser for £80. Never going back and I would suggest for everyone to not go back. 😊

For clarity, your appointment included a thorough consultation where we discussed your desired long butterfly cut. Given that it was your first haircut in two years, we took 4 inches off as you requested. We allocated an hour and 15 minutes for your cut, finish, and treatment, but you chose not to have the blow dry. This can affect the immediate appearance of the butterfly cut, which typically shows its true beauty after a blow-dry. The hair treatment we used was the Kerastase Fusio Dose, one of the best products on the market, valued at £20. We aim to use only the highest quality products for our clients to ensure the best results. The pricing of £75 for your cut and treatment was discussed and agreed upon before your appointment. Additionally, over the past two years, salon prices have increased, and in London, a wet cut alone can cost much more than £55. Considering you also had a top-tier treatment, the final bill of £75 reflects the quality and value of the services provided. At the time of leaving the salon you did not express that you were not happy with the treatment or service and commented that you were happy and would come back, so you can appreciate we were quite shocked to see your review. If you wish to come in to the salon and discuss further we would be happy to speak with you. We will also feed back your comment to Keratase This treatment was left on for just under 5 mins at the basin thats all it needs to transform your hair all our customers love it However you cannot please everyone

I work as a nurse so I can never get appointments to fit around my work. Luckily I looked up Jax's hairdressers in Shirley based on their positive reviews and they were able to fit me in on the same day. I was seen by a lovely and bubbly Hayley. She wanted to make sure first, what it was I needed from my hair cut and didn't make me feel rushed at all. I asked for a butterfly haircut and to try and keep as much length as possible and that's exactly what Hayley gave me. She dried and styled my hair at a last minute decision at her request and I was glad she did. The finish was amazing. I attended a party that evening and I got many compliments about my hair. I will definitely be attending again and recommend you see Hayley for a brilliant haircut she is excellent at her job. Thank you to all the Jax's team. 😊

This was my first time going to Jaxs Hair Salon and I loved it! I have really curly hair and am usually picky with which salons I go to. However they did not disappoint. I got a cut and blow dry and I love the cut, my curls looked stunning and my overall experience was great!

I am never disappointed when I come to Jaxs! Jackie has been doing my hair for a couple of years now and at this point now she knows my hair better than I do. She takes the time to listen to what I want done, looks at my inspo photos and uses her expertise and passion for the profession to give me the best haircuts and styles of my life. I really love that Jackie involves me in the process, asking for my opinion when necessary and gives me every opportunity to discuss the cut I like. I have curly hair and Jackie never fails to make me feel confident about my curls when I leave my hair natural. My whole family comes to Jaxs and I couldn’t recommend them more. The team makes you feel welcome and at home and always put your needs first. I refuse to see another hairdresser!

Today me and my mum went to this beautiful salon. the staff there are amazing, stunning and respectful. my mum is really happy with the treatment from Jackie and she did a great job as well as Kelsey, they both have great talent and are both very beautiful. Will definitely come back.

I haven't been to a salon in years and found this salon after searching 'balayage specialists'. My experience there was great and everyone was so lovely, I felt right at ease. My hair transformation was amazing and I would definitely go back! Thank you to Kelsey who really understood what I wanted and delivered amazing results.

I’ve been visiting Jax’s hair salon regularly for my haircut & colour and cannot recommend the services enough. Jackie (salon owner) is a seasoned expert and always goes the extra mile to make you feel amazing! I have always been delighted with the very professional results. The salon staff make you feel so welcome and create a lovely atmosphere each & every visit - thank you ladies! Highly recommended.

This was my first time at this hairdresser's. I had made it clear from the first contact that I was fearful as my previous haircut was a disaster and had knocked my confidence. I also made it clear that I was of mixed ethnicity, and advised that they could still do my hair. My hair was cut by the owner, however when it got to styling stage she blowdried my hair got the mirror as if completed, I had to advise that she had not straightened my hair with the straighteners. The owner then replied that she had forgotton and did a quick rush and that was that. It was not styled to any standard as I told her that I will now have to go back home to style my hair myself, there was no concern from her. My hair is also showing bald like patchy areas on one side where she has cut too low where my hsor is fine, I couldn't see as was looking straight ahead, however she is meant to be the professional with 40 years under her belt. I had the shame of walking across the main road to my car feeling so embarrassed of how I looked. As soon as I was in my car I put my baseball cap on as yes it was that bad, it also ruined my day as when I went to the hairdressers it is halfway from mine to my fathers, and it was his birthday so going back home took extra time to fix. I am disgusted at how I was left, also no follow up on the strand test...but don't bother as I would not go back. I guess your caucasion customers get better treatment and yes I am going there. I still paid the full amount of £65 baring in mind that I walked in with a pixie cut, however should customers have to leave a hairdressers not feeling like a million dollars to have to style their hair themselves? I feel worse then when I went in as my cut is not what I thought it would be, wrap sets and gel for me now until I can grow my hair back.

Hello, We are very sorry that you did not feel that you had a good experience at our salon, we pride ourselves on work which is reflected in our positive Google reviews, I see your last one was deleted and wasn’t able to respond now a new one has been added and updated with new comments. we would never have wanted you to leave the salon unsatisfied with the results, I do wish that at the time you had expressed to us how you were feeling or got back in contact with us as we would have of course done anything we could to rectify the situation to ensure you left the salon feeling your best. As we do with all clients, we provided you with a consultation and discussed that we would ensure that we have the specific products you wished us to use on your hair the next time you came in. I understand that you were unhappy with the finished style, and you weren't happy with the blow-dry as you asked us to straighten your hair after though I did explain that the level of damage to your hair would mean it would not look like the picture you provided at the time you asked to have your hair shorter and I advised against it as your hair was not coloured and fine at the sides and would make it look uneven. At the time I did ask you what I could do to make sure you were happy and you assured me that you were happy and would tweak yourself at home, we then discussed that I would be back in contact on Wednesday which I also explained was my next day back in the salon to discuss your strand test and you left this review before the end of the day. We would really like for you to get back in touch so we can address your concerns directly.

What a gem of a salon with the most lovely and friendly girls. Jackie has been cutting my hair for a couple of years and always does a fantastic job. Jackie always listens and will make suggestions that are always spot-on. I leave the salon with complete satisfaction and never disappointed.

I’m a trained hairdresser, I’ve had my hair cut by a Sassoon Art Director and a Tony and Guy award winning stylist. Jackie is a very talented stylist, I cried when I drove away because the whole experience made me feel so good after a tough couple of months. Great, great cut.
