This was my first visit and I was really impressed from start to finish. I felt completely at ease as soon as I arrived. The hair wash and head massage were lovely and so relaxing.
Jackie took the time to ask exactly what I wanted and really listened. She explained what she was doing throughout, and checked I was happy at each stage. She also asked what products I’d like in my hair, which I really appreciated.
I left feeling great and would absolutely recommend Jaxs.
I’ve been seeing Jackie for a while now for various haircuts, and I always leave absolutely happy with the results! They really listen to what I want, give great advice, and somehow make my hair look better every time. Couldn’t recommend them more!

Loved my experience here! I first went to Jackie for a haircut and blowout, and she absolutely nailed it. I showed her a picture, and she somehow made it look even better than what I had in mind. A few days later, I came back for a bouncy blowout with Hayley, and she also did an amazing job. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Can’t wait for my next visit!
I went to Jaxs for the first time and will definitely be going back. The staff were lovely and friendly and I am so pleased with my haircut. I was made to feel so at ease and Jackie who did my hair was so professional yet friendly. I had rhe most amazing head massage too! Thank you so much.
Received a warm welcome and first class service from Hayley, Gaby and Jackie. Felt like a mini holiday going there to get my hair done. Attention to detail from the hair to expert head massage, and relaxed in their beautiful garden with a cup of tea and a magazine whilst my hair was being set. A totally fab experience and recommended.
Amazing! Jackie gave me an incredible haircut, after so long of going to different salons to get this cut Jackie finally made it happen. Jackie is an incredible hair dresser and I’ve had a few over the years she is by far the best. She cut my wig fringe SO well and she recently cut my hair from very long into a short bob and she got the colour dark brown perfect. I’m so happy with it! The salon is super welcoming and a lovely environment!
If I could leave a six star review, then I would. I have been coming here for over 10 years now and always know I am going to leave the salon feeling a million dollars. Jackie and her team are fantastic and always so friendly and welcoming. I trust Jackie implicitly with my hair and she is always on trend and recommending new products etc. It is amazing to get a West End experience in a local salon. It took me years to find Jaxs and I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you for yet another lovely experience today.

The happy ever after 🤣❤️
Honestly me and hair salons have a love hate relationship I feel like I’ve spent the last 10 years on a salons version of tinder but after moving across the country I feel like I’ve finally committed.
Lets start with the staff.. I mean wow. Hayley from a customer service couldn’t do more for you and she makes you feel so comfortable within seconds of getting in her chair ! Beyond being a fantastic hairdresser I’m pretty sure she could take a second job in stand up, I walked out so much happier than when I went in (the amazing hair did help)
And it’s not just Hayley .. all of the staff are the most friendly group of people I’ve ever come across and they even allow your little fur babies to come join in the fun if you are struggling for pet care .. I mean that alone is 5 stars and the garden out back in the sun is simply a dream! All that’s missing is a bar (then again I may never leave)
But most importantly the reason we actually go to salons, my colour ! I gave Hayley an idea and she just ran with it, talk about making a vision alive !
My colour faded fairly quickly (as explained it might) from the bleach underneath and the fact my hair was fairly damaged she also taught me about the correct shampoo’s conditioner all whilst not forcing a sale of any product on me (like a lot of salons do) she also explained how sunlight holidays and swimming in chemicals or sea water all has major effects on my hair and it was clear she knew what she was talking about. I asked her about treatments and solutions, together we picked out what we thought best (it was definitely all her but I like to feel involved) and guess what it’s working !
Booking back in to have my hair re done and book my follow on appointment was when I really knew that I done it ! The salon situationships were over and I’d finally committed!
I can’t wait to see where our future takes us 🤣🤣
And if you are sick of feeling uncomfortable or out of place in these trendy up market salons then please please give this one a go, I have tried them all and well put it this way I’ve never wrote a short novel on any of the others !
Ps I think my boyfriend got jealous and he has also joined the relationship and I’m never allowing him to get shaved by one of these butcher barbers again, after a full scissor cut from Jaqueline (really hope I got her name right) I’ve never seen his hair look this good.

A gem of a salon. Classy interior, friendly staff and most importantly high standards of hair cut/ colouring etc. I’ve been personally been going for years and not looking to change anytime soon,

Starting off saying that the staff was really nice and my end result was satisfying after I asked for really ash cool highlights to camouflage my white hairs being a brunette, I was told that the toner would fade after 8 weeks before going back to retouch my hair, but unfortunately after just a couple of weeks my hair turned super orange and horrible to look at, called the salon to try to find a solution and I have been told that I need to have another kind of colour toner gloss done and it was over £100 extra after spending over £200 just couple of weeks before, I was not offered any good will price or help, I thought I finally found the right hair salon but in the end it was an expensive disappointing experience.
Response to owners: Please do not try and change the narrative. My hair changed after 10 days. Also there was no sun exposure as I wear a headscarf. Also you never advised that I could have come to you after 2 weeks, you said 10 days which wouldn’t have been possible as I was abroad. Regardless I won’t be coming back but I think it’s only fair for future customers to know how you handle complaints.
Hi thank you for your review, we are glad you had a great experience and was happy with the end result on your initial visit to the salon. During your appointment we did mention toners do fade and as you went away on holiday and called us up 4 weeks later we advised that exposure to the sun and using certain products can contribute to fading, we also consulted with our Loreal professional team and 4 weeks is to long after your appointment for for a free toner, had you have called1- 2 weeks after you appointment we would have gladly performed a complimentary toner at no extra cost to you. And just to clarify maintenance would have been £85.00 not £100

I had a gorgeous haircut a month ago by Kelsey and more recently I had a hair colour change.
Hayley did my hair colour, she took care in listening to my thoughts, and gave her advice on what would look good and how it would wear/grow. I didn’t feel pressured into booking anything, or buying anything like other salons would do.
Hayley has done such a fantastic job. She is so thorough, and thoughtful (asking if I needed a break at any point or a top up on my coffee). I had a wonderful relaxing appointment, with some giggles thrown in the mix.
