I reached out to set up an appointment over the holiday weekend and still received a response the same day! J&M scheduled us quickly and was able to replace the compressor in our unit the same day. Mike was also able to help teach me more about our AC unit as a new homebuyer which I truly appreciated! Great service and highly recommend!
We were in need of a new A/C unit. We had several companies come give us quotes. J and M Cooling & Heating gave us the best price for a Trane heatpump install. The install team came early. They got right to work, they explained the process to us and answered all our questions. They were very professional they did an awesome job! They cleaned up everything. The A/C is working great! We will be recommending this company to anyone we know with cooling/heating issues.

We arrived home to PHX & found the temperature inside was gradually increasing along with a thumping noise. Mike advised turning off the AC unit to prevent further possible damage.
Jason and his nephew arrived early the following morning. They found the problem, bought the needed parts, replaced them, and within an hour had my 17+ year old AC up and running like a champ.
This was the second time I've dealt with J&M Cooling & Heating and I couldn't be happier.
I recommend this company to ALL who want honest and reliable work. The extra bonus: they are reasonably priced.

If you’re looking for an honest and reliable company for your hvac and a/c needs, look no further. I had called several different companies with questions about my a/c units possibly not working properly (it’s my first time having an a/c, so I was worried about how it should be functioning), before I found Mike at the end of a phone call. He was the first person to tell me that it sounded like my units were working fine and that I should save money and have them serviced before the next summer. I really appreciated that he wasn’t trying to sell me something I didn’t need. But I had him come out anyway, just to be sure. He was patient with me as I explained some of the issues I was having in my home, which I wasn’t sure were related to my units or something else. He eased my concerns and addressed them all, and even fixed something in my attic that was previously improperly installed on one of the units. He was thorough and knowledgable, and made suggestions to help my situation. He even responded to questions I had in the days since he serviced our units, which I truly appreciated. Most people won’t take the time to answer your concerns.
Being new to the area, it’s always hard starting over to find the right people for things such as plumbing, heating, landscapers, etc. Mike is now going to be our official go-to guy when it comes to servicing our a/c and furnace. He made quite an impression.

Service is a dying art, especially anything related to construction but J&M delivers exceptional service in an old school honest hardworking kind of way. Our A/C was out and he came that morning and fixed the problem quickly and economically. I don't recommend many people but Jason is a no brainer. Don't hesitate if you need his services. I'd give him 10 stars if I could.
On a Sunday morning, my AC stopped working and I texted J&M after seeing so many great reviews online. They called me back immediately and were at my door within an hour! Super friendly, explained what was wrong, and had the capacitor replaced in no time. The price was fair, the service was professional, and it gave me peace of mind knowing it was done right. If you’re looking for an honest, great guy to help you with your HVAC needs, look no further! We were very impressed and felt comfortable having him in our home, which is a big deal for us. He was very fair with us on pricing and didn’t do any unnecessary repairs. Highly recommend and will keep him on speed dial for next time.
Mike was great. We have had issues for weeks now. We used another company that didn’t solve the problem, leaving me to climb in my attic everyday to limp our units that wouldn’t drain along. Mike came out and solved the issue. Very fair pricing and provided us much needed advice on sizing and unit selection when we replace our aged units.
