Terrible service and constant delays; they show no compassion for patients in pain and are dishonest. The front desk service is poor—specifically, there is a heavy-set woman with short hair who has a disgusting, racist attitude. My husband, Rene Lopez, has been waiting over a month for a back injection; they claim to be waiting for insurance authorization, yet when we call the insurance company, they say they haven't received any request from Jaffe Sports Medicine. The doctors and other staff are very pleasant, but something isn't working right overall. I am in contact with my lawyer regarding the lack of respect and the unfair amount of time they have made my husband wait.

Hands down one of the best places around with the most caring dedicated and educated staff. My plan was to head back north to have everything done but I am happy with my overall experience. Absolutely love Dr. Arcos and how much time he takes with his patients and my PT with Mark has been great.

From the moment you walk through the door, the front desk staff makes you feel welcome, and the entire physical therapy team creates an upbeat, encouraging environment that makes every visit something to look forward to. The atmosphere is genuinely positive, and the little touches make a difference. (They even had the soothing sounds of Sade Adu playing... if you know, you know! 😊)
I'd also like to give special recognition to Dr. Eric Johnson, M.D., FAAOS, whose expertise, professionalism, and compassionate care are outstanding. A huge thank you as well to his superstar medical assistant, Mr. Jimmy, who went above and beyond to make me feel valued and well cared for.

Stephanie Galburt helped us so much in getting the authorization finally from our doctors office for a procedure I needed done. She is such an asset to Jaffe! In addition, Scott Bradley, who performed the specialty test, was very personable, professional and explained what he was doing as well as the results he saw. I’m very appreciative of the experience and their help in getting my test scheduled, completed, and in getting the results to my specialist for his review.
I’ve seen a lot of doctors in my life, and Dr. Stepanenko was one of the most disrespectful physicians I have ever encountered.
I’m done with disrespectful doctors who treat people like second-class citizens. We aren’t impressed that you went to medical school if you never learned empathy, kindness, compassion, or how to treat another human being with respect.
Apparently Dr. Stepanenko either wasn’t taught, or doesn’t believe in, bedside manner. Because she has none.
I watched her treat the medical assistant like he was beneath her right in front of me. I watched her back a lot too, since she spent much of the appointment sitting and typing at the computer rather than looking her patient in the eyes.
She couldn’t seem to remember what she said to my face by the time she turned around to type it five seconds later, then was rude to the medical assistant when he did his best to remember for her as she demanded he repeat what she had just said so she could enter it into her laptop.
When she asked me what had worked for me in the past related to the issue I was experiencing, she yelled at me that she doesn’t prescribe some of those things. I didn’t care whether she did or didn’t. I was simply answering her question, yet she responded with a level of hostility and contempt that was shocking.
She never properly examined me or put her hands on me to determine what might be going on. Instead, she made a series of assumptions and ordered unnecessary tests.
I know those assumptions were entirely inaccurate because I went to see another practitioner who helped me resolve the issue in a single appointment with no testing needed, and who was appalled when I shared my experience with Dr. Stepanenko.
Her behavior was unacceptable and inexcusable.
I will never return to Jaffe. It has become a revolving door of doctors, and patients deserve better. I will go out of my way to save others from wasting their time here. I sincerely hope you don’t waste yours.
