I changed to this vets after numerous visits to my previous vets and no diagnosis. After one visit to Ironstone I had a suspected diagnosis (which turned out to be correct) and i was referred to a specialist vets who have since done the surgery. I find all the staff here so helpful, patient and you can see they genuinely love animals. Cannot recommend this vets enough.

I was very impressed by Ironstones. I have owned dogs since 2007, and hence seen many vets. From the receptionist I spoke to on the first phone call, to meeting them and the Vet Rob, they were all so caring , gave personalised care, and very professional. I needed immediate care for my dog, who had been bitten by another dog quite badly. Rob was so gentle with her and the sustained wound. He prescribed medication and advice of ongoing care. I would definitely recommend this practice, that cares about animals, without making profit the objective, but rather giving animals the best chance of recovery. Thank you

This is without doubt the best vets i have ever been too if it wasn’t for them my dog Reggie wouldn’t be with me anymore after being hit by a car they couldn’t do enough to help and now he is happily running around causing chaos again which i never thought id see since this i have taken all my dogs here and again nothing is any trouble to them they all have such a caring nature and are very approachable for help and advice this is everyone from the 3 vets to the nurses and the fantastic reception staff i recommend this to many people and everyone is super happy with the service that is provided i honestly can’t thank and praise these guys enough they are a credit to the industry which is so refreshing to see well done to everyone at Ironstone just keep doing what you do best

The staff at this vet clinic are absolutely amazing. They treated my cat with so much care and compassion, and they explained everything clearly so I understood what was happening. The vet was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals they treat. I wouldn’t take my cat anywhere else!

could not thank the staff enough during a very difficult time of having to say goodbye to my baby girl I was shown a lot of compassion not at all rushed told to take my time no rush and after having her put to sleep told to take my time no rush take your time and sending me a card to say how sorry they were with paw prints and fur really helped with the grief

What a friendly and honest vets! First went 2 get a second opinion on my cleft puppy, advised not to spending the thousands i was quoted and was told a simple tooth extraction would be a few hundred if she ever needed it. Since then she's made regular visits for health checks and other issues. Anyone looking for a new veterinary surgery join this one, all of the staff have a smile and really love engaging in conversation about your pet. Would recommend them to anyone

A practice that cares about pet wellbeing and owner peace of mind! My cat Heide went for dental work and had her blood taken due to inflammation on her tongue. She is naturally very nervous, but they did everything possible to make her comfortable. The staff are patient and ready to answer any questions. Heide made a good recovery (even though she’s a few teeth down!) and has been a happy cat since. Everyone there clearly cares about what they’re doing, from the moment you step into the building they do everything they can to make it a comfortable experience. They’re also very clear when explaining things, keeping the owner in the know! i’ve recommended to a lot of people i know and they’ve all shared my opinion that this is a great practice for pets and owners!

Absolutely brilliant vets. Definitely recommend to anyone with pets! I’ve always felt really welcome bringing my two dogs here and the whole team are so friendly and caring. They recently looked after our dog Brock for an operation and the care he received was amazing from start to finish. The aftercare was outstanding and gave me so much reassurance. The vets are incredibly knowledgeable and always take the time to be thorough and attentive.
