I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to Irondog K9 International for their generous donation that made it possible to acquire K9 Jocko. Your support played a direct and vital role in bringing Jocko into our unit, and we are proud to share that he has successfully graduated from the New Jersey State Police K9 Program. Jocko is now a certified narcotics scent detection K9 and is already proving to be an invaluable asset.
Jocko’s training and certification give us an effective and proactive tool in locating illegal narcotics, aiding investigations, and helping keep dangerous substances off our streets. His addition strengthens both our operational capabilities and our ability to support neighboring agencies in joint efforts.
In October of 2025, Jocko will begin his next phase of training at a tracking school. Tracking K9s are instrumental in locating missing persons, apprehending suspects, and enhancing search and rescue efforts. Skills that are critical for both public safety and emergency response.
Personally, I want to express my deepest appreciation to Irondog K9 International. Your support not only made it possible for Jocko to join our ranks, but also gave me the opportunity to serve as a K9 handler.
