Fantastic trip and tour guide! Karwan was an absolutely professional funny tour guide and „our bro“ gave us a very interesting and authentic insight of the region and his culture. 5 days in Kurdistan I had the BEST time with Karwan in Kurdistan. He showed me such nice and interesting places here and it seemed like he knows everyone in Kurdistan. We spent 5 days together and I was able to learn a lot about kurdish culture, the history and the political situation of Kurdistan. We met locals along the way, are fantastic food and drank many Chais together:) Karwan is Not just a competent Tourguide, but also a very kind and open company to travel with!Would do it again anytime! Great trip to Sulaymanyiah with Karwan I had a great time on my trip from Erbil to Sulaymaniyah with Karwan, who is an absolutely wealth of knowledge on the history of Kurdistan. He’s also a blast to hang out with for a day. We also visited Koya town, Dokan Lake, and the Red Museum. Looking forward to my next trip with him in the near future.

Wonderful experience with Karwan! Karwan was a wonderful guide and travel companion for my solo trip to Akre. Communication was spotless before and during the trip. He managed to give a great overview of the old city, the surroundings, with explanations about the history. But what I loved the most is that he made me experience the local culture, the people, the religion. Thank you Karwan for the unforgettable experience!

A great time in Kurdistan with Karwan We had a fantastic time with Karwan, who is very knowledgeable about the region and can explain it really well but who is also super nice and funny at the same time. He showed us so many interesting, beautiful spots in Kurdistan and was always patient and happy to tailor the experience to our needs. Can warmly recommend!

Wonderful tour with unmatched hospitality The organization was very good. Karwan is very flexible and can arrange the trip however you want, tailored to your needs:) I traveled with the second guide, Cardo. He is an easy going man and I really like that. You can have a lot of friendly conversations. In addition to this, there is a free time during evening in various cities, so that you can ask for suggestions and have your own experiences as well besides cultural places. Kurds are very welcoming and, hence, I have had countless hours of talking with other people, smoking some shisha and was greeted very well. My personal favourite places: Akre, Yazidis temple and a street food street in Erbil.

Enriching and Enlightening Our small group had only a day, but what a memorable day with Karwan! He loves his country, heritage, and culture, thus sharing a wealth of information, with deep connection. And then at the same time, remained flexible to our interests, and patient with our endless questions. We visited two desert monasteries and Lalish Temple; and thoroughly enjoyed a traditional Kurdish meal and setting. It seemed that Karwan had friends and connections everywhere! The sites were fascinating and fantastic, but personable Karwan made the day. It would be great to have him as a neighbor; and we all are eager to return!

The best tour of Kurdistan A fantastic tour of the Kurdistan region. An experience that would have been impossible to create without the knowledge and insight that Karwan provided. We visited a range of different areas and sites from Bekhal Waterfalls, Rawanduz, Gali Ali Beg, Akre and Erbil itself. Karwan was an amazing guide and a great person to spend time with! Trip to Akre One of the best leaders who is very calm doesn't always think what anger is, you can be very comfortable with him. You can trust him for anywhere or anytime he know what he doing and how can you enjoy.

Akre trip One of the most beautiful trips in Kurdistan (Akre), with the best tour guide Mr. Karwan, we got to know a new culture in Dohuk and how people live in the mountain villages in the city of Akre. Our trip coincided with the fig season, which is famous in Aqre orchards. We tried the traditional meal in a wonderful traditional restaurant in the middle of the historical city of Aqre. Mr. Karwan took us to the popular market and helped us get the best local products of figs, green walnuts, spices and local rice. He know every nature and historic place in this city and have a friends everywhere. He was flexible and friendly to have a tour with.

Wauw … just wauw! I don't even know where to start... Karwan know the way around EVERYTHING, from the bigger to smaller cultural spots. I got introduced to the real culture and experienced the hospitality and sweetness of the people. You definitely need a guy like Karwan around and especially his humor. It can be a bit difficult to get around and find the places, so a huge recommendation from my end. Thank you Karwan for an amazing trip. You're a good man, and I wish you all the best. Takes your trip to another level. Karwan is probably the best guide. I usually don’t like to travel with one but if everyone was like him I bet I could give more chances. The fact that he knows their region and he moves so well with it, makes you feel safe and comfortable plus he’s very knowledgeable about the Kurdistan.

Four-day Kurdistan tour June 2024 I had a four-day Kurdistan Tour with Karwan. I had scheduling challenges and he made it flexible to make it work out with my flight schedules. It was a hot period in Kurdistan the last week of June, but he managed the pace to work around the hot weather - including taking roadside breaks. More importantly, he shared not only the cultural aspects of the region but also the history of the Kurdistan people. To learn about a region is to know its people and their history. I left with an appreciation for Kurdistan through Karwan’s stories and the sights and places he introduced and showed me. My family and friends had concerns about my safety traveling in Iraq, but at no point did I feel unsafe during my visit to Kurdistan. Thanks to his connections and network, I felt welcome in many places - including an impromptu visit to a compatriot’s fast food restaurant. My visit was too short to thoroughly enjoy the beauty of the region. I definitely want to come back, hopefully in cooler weather and different season. Thanks again, Karwan, for a memorable tour. And Biji, Kurdistan!

A great trip Amazing tour. Second time in khurdistan and loved it. Karwan was a great guide and the itinerary was great. I I’ll go back and hope to see more of the choman area and the mountains- particularly beautiful. Great food and lovely people and culture here
