So you drive down a three lane one way street southbound into a industrial part of town; somewhat dreading a possible encounter with a angry, hostile shopkeeper who exudes stinginess and arrogance from an entitled perch based on inside knowledge. But, no, this isn’t the case one iota. Dave greets each customer as if they’re a longtime compatriot and presents a well curated shop that is easily the most fair and equitable one price wise in the entire Front Range. Cliqueness? Not at all. I’ve been both a buyer and a seller at IV and Dave has yet to steer me wrong on either account. And the amount of musical knowledge gained across multiple genres just from an hour long hang with proprietor and customers is the gift that keeps on giving. To counter paraphrase the signature song of the infamous surf instrumental band The Ventures, “Run, Don’t Walk” to the SW corner of 1st & Kalamath.
This is one of my fav record stores in Denver. Everything is priced fairly. Some other local shops tend to price their used vinyl in the higher end of discogs pricing and I find Invincible to consistently be priced in the middle. The owner (Dave) is super friendly and I make a point to stop by several times a month and I usually find something. Definitely stop by and check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

Great experience. Owner run shop, great parking, bathroom... We stopped by on a whim, running early for an appointment. We had meant to come back, but our day ran longer than expected. We are planning on heading back to Denver soon to take another look, for sure!! Highly recommend you stop in if you're looking for something!!
