Praise For Ali !!! My husband and I joined two other couples for a three week trip to Scotland in September, 2026. Four of us were together for the time spent in Inverness and Skye. Ali was our driver and guide for the six full days in that area. We all agreed that she was over-the-top !! Her personality was delightedly cheerful and she was full of energy , enthusiasm and positivity the entire time although the weather was not cooperative. Ali handled driving through heavy rain and sometimes heavy traffic like a pro. With unpredictable on and off rain, Ali was adept at substituting alternate sites and locations to visit when the rain was just too heavy to stick to the original itinerary. She was very knowledgable about all the areas we covered in those six days and adaptable at many spur of the moment needs for change. In the Skye area, we did a lot if driving, so it was a godsend to have someone who engaged and entertained us, even adding the fun of offering a song here and there relating to the upcoming stops. All four of us on this leg of our longer trip agree that Ali checked all the boxes for what one could hope for in a driver and guide. We give her the highest of ratings and recommendations for those looking for a guide.

Martin and Carolyn New Zealand Martin and Carolyn from New Zealand. Our tour with Ali Wilson was from the 8th to 10th of June 2026 on the C250 and inland through the Cairngorms National park ,to Culloden and returning us to Inverness . Ali was a wonderful guide.She had lots of local knowledgeand found a watchmaker to repair a watch strap on our way out of Inverness. She made sure we were comfortable with the plans she outlined each day. With her indepth knowledge of the area and people including introducing us to Doric a local language of the coastal fishing villages. We did several tours during the 3 months we spent in the UK and Ali's was one of the best. Thankyou so much for going out of your way to ensure we had such an informative and enjoyable time.

Culloden & the Stones with Ali Our group of 4 booked a half-day excursion with Ali and she was just amazing. We truly had a lot of fun and wished we could have stayed longer in Scotland. We highly recommend it!

Ali was great! Our group of four people had a wonderful day in the Highlands with Ali from Inverness Tours (8 hour tour). She listened to us at the beginning and made great suggestions for how to get the most from our time. She has many connections in the Inverness area that added a great personal touch to all our stops.

Irene the Dream! Irene was top-notch! Her sense of humor was perfect for us. She was flexible and if time was too tight between excursions, she was quick on her feet with alternative suggestions. Taking us different routes out of Inverness and back was very thoughtful—showing us different parts of the Highlands. We were sad to have missed her gig on our last evening, as I think that would have been the cherry on top of an already wonderful holiday!

Great experience! Spent 3 days with Dave Fyfe on a customized whiskey tour and all 3 days were highly enjoyable! Dave has a rolodex of jokes and stories and is a wealth of knowledge of the area. He knows how to show a good time and went above and beyond our expectations. He also was attentive to our needs. Was definitely a highlight of our Scotland trip thus far! The vehicle was in great shape and comfortable for our long day trips.

Perfect day on the Isle of Skye We had an amazing day with Irene guiding our family of five to the Isle of Skye. Her wealth of knowledge and engaging stories truly brought the history of the area to life. She was fantastic with our kids, making them feel included and entertained throughout. Speyside Distillery Tour with Hugh We spent a day with Hugh Allison on a private Speyside Distillery Tour from Inverness. What a fantastic day! Hugh worked with me to determine the distilleries to visit, provided a wonderfull card to us celebrating birthdays and our anniversary, shared a lovely lunch with us, and provided detailed Outlander information not expected. All in all we had a fantastic quiet day out with this company and its exceptional guide.

Great trip in Scotland Irene was terrific. Spent 4 days with her and enjoyed every minute. She made the trip even more fun, more educational and more interesting. Always on time and a font of Scottish lore. Someone in our group of 4 needed to see a doctor on the last day. She went out of her way to find one. Then dropped others off at hotel and went back with the patient until he was completed. Then drove patients back to hotel even though her time was officially up hours before. Inverness Tours is super and Irene is a super star. Thanks

Dave Fyfe is an awesome guide Our group of four had a fantastic day exploring Inverness and the Highlands with Dave Fyfe from Inverness Tours (invernesstours.com). Dave is a natural storyteller — he wove history, folklore, and personal anecdotes into every stop, so nothing felt like a recited fact sheet. Whether it was clan battles, local legends, or quieter corners of Highland history, he always had a great story ready. His knowledge of the area was genuinely impressive, going well beyond what you'd find in a guidebook, and he was happy to dig into anything we were curious about. The whole day felt less like a scripted tour and more like spending time with a knowledgeable friend who knew every hidden gem in the Highlands.
