I had a very frustrating experience with InstallPros and I feel it’s important to warn others.
I initially looked into Starlink after a friend recommended it. Their website clearly advertised no upfront costs, with a promotional price of £25 per month for six months, rising to £35 thereafter. Based on that, I decided to make an enquiry.
After reaching out, I was contacted by InstallPros, which at first seemed like part of the same company. However, it turns out they are just a third-party installer. What shocked me was that they quoted me £700 for hardware and installation — something that directly contradicts what’s advertised on the official Starlink website.
This feels incredibly misleading. At no point was it made clear that a third party would be involved or that such a significant upfront cost could apply. It gives the impression that customers are being funneled toward expensive installation services that aren’t actually required.
In my opinion, this comes across as a rip-off, and I’d strongly advise others to double-check who they’re dealing with before agreeing to anything. Transparency is seriously lacking here.

We do find it a little concerning that an almost identical review has been posted under another Starlink Installation provider, as it creates some confusion around the authenticity of the situation, but we still want to respond clearly and professionally. You submitted your contact details through our website on 3rd April at 6:15am, which is what initiated our communication, and at no point did we contact you unsolicited or receive your details from Starlink. Throughout every interaction, we clearly stated we are Install Pros, not Starlink, with this reflected in our branding, domain, and messaging, and we were fully transparent about all costs from the outset.
The exact message we sent to you reads as follows "As mentioned here, we are not Starlink directly. We are the UK's largest installers of Starlink, therefore we offer a more professional premium installation."
Our Starlink Installation service is a premium, fully managed solution that includes professional setup, ownership of the equipment rather than rental, and ongoing 24/7 aftercare and support, which is very different from the base-level offering advertised online. We understand that this may not align with everyone’s expectations, and that’s completely fair, but our pricing reflects the quality, reliability, and long-term support we provide. We’re always available should you wish to discuss this further or need any guidance, as ensuring clarity and support for every customer remains a priority for us.

Had issues with connectivity for a while. Nathan helped us so much resisting everything up. It took 2 dys resetting everything with me and He did that with extra patience and care even though it was Christmas eve. He went over and above and we're very grateful for his assistance and support. He even helped us set up our smart TV so we won't go without television over Christmas as Sky has left us without tv during this Christmas period. From the start with Nathan to the finish with the installer Luke, it was truly professional job. Luke arrived just after 3pm and left two hours later with two more jobs to go to before he could get home around 10pm then do his paperwork for the day. Nathan and Luke were both lovely to deal with and Luke was very reassuring and clear before he left. I now have a decent Wi-Fi speed and my Netflix and iPlayer now work properly after years of patchy BT reception.

James was so helpful and immediately available to our every need and was patient when we didn’t have any signal.
After telling us we could have our installation done the next working day we couldn’t believe the speed and now all our anxiety has gone since we both work from home and need the internet.
