Go! You'll be glad you did 🤙🏼 Arthur, Matthew, and Joep were so patient and knowledgeable in their craft. I felt so safe being at sea with these young men. I went as a solo 50+ and everyone was so welcoming. Sooo much to learn from vocab to maneuvers. A relaxing yet adventurous week of memories. Thank you guys and SV🫶🏼

Tahiti 2025. DO IT. you won't regret! I joined Sailing Virgins in October 2025 in Tahiti with six other sailors, and had an incredible experience. Our instructor/skipper Mitchell was phenomenal. It was clear he was well equipped to teach multiple levels of sailing experience while also facilitating an incredible vacation. We sailed, learned, and each got our turns with key boat maneuvers from docking to mooring balls. But it wasn't all educational. We saw some awesome reefs while snorkeling, experienced Polynesian culture at restaurants and a pearl farm, and had a lot of fun getting to know fellow sailors. The Sailing Virgins staff was thoughtful and deliberate in their communication and helped me be prepared for the week and the certification tests. I would 100% go again and look forward to finding my next destination.

Great time Sailing in the Dalmatian Islands with Finn We did the ASA 104 course through Sailing Virgins in Croatia. Everything was fantastic. from the communications with SV to the week on the sea. Finn was an outstanding instructor. We worked hard and learned a lot, but also had a great time visiting the Dalmatian Islands. Anyone who wants to do the ASA courses or just have a great time sailing will enjoy this trip.

Sailing course in Croatia Hi. I’ve had a very pleasant experience from the initial email exchange with the back office to the very last day. Everyone I had interacted with was super helpful and responsive in short times. Our instructor, Mitchel, was very supportive, handled every sutuation with ease and his calm attitude helps a lot to remove the stress of being a rookie on the boat.

Highly recommend! I took this as a refresher class to the catamaran courses I took a few years ago. I had a great time with the other students and instructors. I learned many new things and it was balanced nicely with a lot of fun. Excellent instructor and other students. Such a great time!

Sailing and fun! Do it! I loved this week learning how to sail better. It was a ton of fun! Nacha and Pascal were great instructors -- fun, encouraging, and really helped us learn. We also snorkeled, danced, laughed, and had a great time. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Sailing Virgins exceeded all expectations. The Sailing Virgins videos got me through the pandemic. I believed this group knew how to teach sailing while creating fun and adventure. I was right. I built upon my skillset and learned so much about my capabilities and team building on this trip. My primary goal was to assess and enhance my learning needs and determine whether I could safely skipper a charter of friends and family. Each member of our crew had its own learning goals, and we all passed our tests at the end of the trip. We were able to raft up with another small group which made the evenings ashore even more memorable. I had not traveled to the BVI's since 2019. They are as beautiful as I remembered.

Spectacular week of adventure Had some of the greatest sailing of my life with this team. Nacha and Pascal were the best instructors we could hope for and I came away feeling well-equipped to go out on a bareboat charter with friends or family. The things I learned about most surprised me - the process of checking out a rental boat, the smells and sounds you should expect when sleeping on a boat, how to cook a meal on a close reach when the boat is heeled over.

Blast of an adventure, in a beautiful place, with great people. Do it. After many years of debating a Sailing Virgins trip, finally pulled the trigger and joined on a catamaran adventure in the British Virgin Islands. Should not have waited so long. Went solo but had no issue blending with a likeminded crew of genuinely good and friendly people. Coordination prior to the trip was handled smoothly by the SV team and communications were frequent and clear. The boat itself was fantastic - well equipped and in great condition. Captains Chris and Fin kept us safe, entertained, and taught along the way. They went above and beyond fulfilling our desires for adventure, beach hoping, finding great moorings, and overall being enjoyable blokes to be around. Particular highlight was a beach bonfire after an already long sail day - vibes were great the entire week. Only downside was the trip had to end. Won't be long until the next one.

Outstanding Leadership and Seamless Instruction James is one of the best leaders I have ever met. He has a kind and genuine way about him that earns your respect immediately, not because he asks for it, but because he deserves it. He puts the group first and the person he’s teaching a close second.He is especially good at teaching by letting you learn through doing. He doesn’t over-explain or hover. Instead, he gives you space to practice and steps in with the right feedback at the right time. It makes for a great learning experience and an even better trip.I would sail with him again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

The best sailing school around! I attended the BVI Sailing week and had a blast! I took several ASA courses and added onto my sailing skill set! Flying into and out of Tortola was extremely easy. Kathi gave me clear directions on where to meet and when. James is a incredible teacher and instructor and could cater to each students learning style!

Outstanding!! Outstanding. Perfect combination between learning and fun. Finn, the instructor was excellent. He made sure that each one of us had a chance to practice not only sailing itself but also things like mooring and docking. I am particularly grateful that he made sure we tried as many times as necessary so that each one of us had done it right, which I am very grateful for. Definitely recommend!

Learn to Sail Vacation with Virgin Sails Outstanding sailing experience with Virgin Sails in BVI. I got my ASA 103, 104 and 114 under the tutelage of Capt James Finney. He was a great instructor. Patient and thorough. The only drawback was because so much learning happened in one week we were unable to go as deep in the course material and practice the maneuvers as regular ASA course. This was not fault of the instructor or sailing course. It was just because three certifications were covered in one week on a Catamaran. We also got to snorkel and swim. Loved it !!

Young, Fun, Educational Sailing Virgins! The best way to get into sailing or train to become a skipper.I had the best time with them in the BVI in November 2024.The concept is to bring sailing closer to younger people, which is quite different from what's mostly the case. SV offers an effective methodology to train their students, either from the ground up or to hone their skills. The training is practice-oriented and aims to encourage people to become self-sufficient, either as crew members or as skippers.More importantly, SV puts the emphasis on a positive experience. Sailing is an adventure and is fun; it's about collaboration as a crew and having a great time together.

Best week sailing in Croatia One week in Croatia with Sailing Virgins turned out to be one of the best times in my life.Our teacher Oran Teach (look hime up on IG and youtube) delivered an amazing experience balancing fun, training and increadible destinations in Croatia.I came out of this week having made new friends, learned sailing skills, inspired, confident and motivated to continue growing as a sailor and as personI cannot recommend this experience enough!
