Had 2 surgies with dr Samara and both times had Kellci the PA...she's not only extremely professional but also so sweet and down to earth and always makes me feel comfortable in situations that normally aren't so comfortable. There was also a situation that I needed help driving home and her and Ashley who I believe works in the office management helped me and made sure I got home safely so I wish I could give them 100 stars for how great they were in helping me. Everyone is great in this office but Kellci goes above and beyond for everyone.

Went in for a consultation ahead of a planned procedure. After the appointment, I was told my insurance wasn’t accepted at this office. The staff apologized, as did the referring doctor’s office. To resolve it, I was told they would only bill insurance, keep my copay, and not charge me anything further — I agreed to this. No bill arrived for 8 months. Then, in the next calendar year, I received my first bill for $500. When I called to dispute it, the office said they had no notes on the agreement, despite both myself and the referring office clearly remembering it. It’s hard to believe no one there found it strange to send a first bill 8 months after a visit — that alone should raise questions about how this office tracks and manages billing. Disorganized recordkeeping, poor communication, and a billing surprise nearly a year later. Would not recommend without getting any billing agreement in writing

Disappointed Former Patient… During my initial consultation with Dr. Hamawy for eyelid surgery 2 years ago, I asked if he had performed eyelid surgery on other women of color as I’m afro-Latina and black people are more at risk of hyperpigmentation and keloid scarring. He assured me he had with good results and showed me photos of black women. I had a noticeable slight droop in my left eyelid that he assured me he would correct and recommended I do both eyelids to ensure the best results. My Results: My left eyelid droop was corrected with minimal scarring on my eyelid. However, my right eye now has a visible indentation on the inside that wasn’t there prior to my surgery, the eyelid has visible scarring that I have to cover up with makeup. There’s a visible small bump on the outside of my right eye near my bottom eyelid that I was told was caused by the stitches and would disappear except it hasn’t. Dr. Hamawy is running for Congress and politicians must demonstrate integrity, accountability and be trustworthy!

I called Samra Plastic Surgery, after finding out I would have Mohs Surgery and would be requiring reconstructive surgery. This was my first time in this predicament. I was given a preliminary appointment and was eager to learn what would be in store for me. Dr Patel took his time to go over the procedure I'd be having, from start to aftercare. I had faith in him right away. His staff were so helpful, particularly Courtney and Christine who were both active in my treatment. Dr Patel performed a skin graft on me. He was so skillful and explained every step of the procedure. His work was amazingly precise with minimal after effects. I can't thank him enough.

Dr. Samra was fantastic. When we first met he explained the entire process of reduction to me and answered any Qs I had. Second time we discussed sizing and expectations and what if scenarios. Day of surgery he took his time to measure and draw. I appreciated the time he took because of course you want your breasts to be as symmetrical as possible. Surgery went great as did recovery. I'm so happy with the outcome. They're beautiful. I had had so much back pain and my breasts had gotten so big and heavy and just in the way. I'm happy with the size I have now. They are so much perkier and my back finally has some relief. I had read that he was good and I went to Dr. Asaad Samra because of the reviews and they were spot on. He did not fail me. Patient, knowledgeable, and just aces at his job. His staff was wonderful as well. Such a positive experience. Thank you Dr. Samra and team.

Update: Had my surgery earlier today with Dr. Asaad and Amanda. They were very thorough and made sure I was comfortable. Definitely recommend this place for any procedure. Had an appointment with Dr. Asaad Samra. The employees at the office were very kind. The doctor was kind and took the time to go over every detail of the procedure. My only issue was that I expected the doctor and the medical assistant to be in the room not a PA and a PA student as well. It would have been nice if I gotten a heads up and just ask me if it was okay with them coming in as well. That was just extremely uncomfortable and awkward

This might have been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I had some keloids on my ears which really brought down my confidence and before finding Samra, I had gone to 3 different surgeons (all of which were no help) upon my first visit, Dr Samra was very welcoming and thorough with explaining the process. I felt comfortable under his care and now a week after the removal and healing of all keloids I could almost cry happy tears. I would recommend Samra Plastic Surgery to everyone
