SECOND ADDITION: After almost 3 years of installation, this is what we found (See images) Water damage due to FAULTY installation — screws not proper length and not covered. Through AA’s insurance we received financial remedy to replace the flooring throughout the house (already used), but now restoring the concrete wall and reanchoring the window is going to be thousands in out of pocket costs. Please please be careful. ADDITION: I am STILL dealing with awful water damage and have had to hire a lawyer. Also beware, all these 5 star ratings happening within the last month are fake reviews! Just look at the accounts. None of them live in Miami. I am very disappointed in the experience of replacing all of my windows with AA Glass + Windows run by owner Abel. First, I will say that this is nothing personal, because the guys are all extremely nice and try to be helpful, but this has been a negative experience all around. First of all, most of these 5 star reviews (if not all of them) are left by employees and not real clients. (Alejandra for example is the receptionist). Let me preface by saying that I’ve never had windows done, so I believed everything they told me without question. First, the receptionist pushed and promised that the windows would be installed in 2 days before a 2 week international trip. I didn’t want to leave the house a mess going away, but nonetheless Alejandra told me that it shouldn’t take too long. They only sent 1-2 guys (maybe 3 on one day) each day and obviously it didn’t get done. It took the entirety of 2 weeks and I wasn’t there so I was stressed out needing to coordinate people to open the house up. Second, they left a mess and were so messy and unorganized. It looked like a bomb went off inside to the point that my association told them they were not allowed to continue until they cleaned up. Third, the communication could have been a lot better. They would never communicate what was happening. When they were planning on finishing, etc. Fourth, they are not detail oriented. They are not proactive. They won’t offer solutions or offer recommendations to fix certain things like floor markings/paint/plaster work. Fifth and lastly, the installation led to water damage that they won’t fully fix because the cracks in the exterior wall is “not their job to fix” because it’s “not the actual window” even though I had no water coming in before. So now the walls aren’t properly sealed and now I’m going to have to probably redo my entire floor. I will say they did fantastic job installing my glass shower door via my contractor. Were quick, efficient and provided a great product, I only wish this experience of replacing my windows was better.
