Regarding outdoor plates, I also understand why you wanted an outdoor sample as a comparison. Outdoor mold levels can vary tremendously by location, weather, season, and even hour of the day, so an outdoor plate does not function as a scientific control for the indoor samples. However, it certainly can provide useful information regarding what molds are present outdoors at the time of sampling. We should have taken the time to explain that rather than simply telling you the plates were "not made to go outside."

Finally, your concern about our review-feedback process is fair. Lower ratings are intended to direct customers to us so we have an opportunity to understand and resolve problems, not to prevent negative reviews. If that feedback page was not working, that is something we need to correct, and we will look into it.
