Excellent jeweler with an amazing selection. I usually walk into jewelry stores feeling like I’m about to be taken advantage of, but with ID Jewelry I immediately felt at ease. They are honest, transparent, and make you feel like you’re in good hands.

Viktoriia at ID jewelry was an absolute gem to work with. She was amazing in helping to create a custom engagement ring and wedding band for my future daughter in law. Viktoriia ensured we were well informed every step of the process and sent video/picture updates for our approval. We were extremely pleased with both rings. I recently purchased an engagement ring from Yekutiel at I.D. jewelry. To say I am happy with my decision to shop with them is an understatement.
I am in my late 20s and so I have a lot of friends who are also recently engaged, so when asking them they mostly recommended boutiques downtown or various other jewelers whose whole business model is engagement rings. My experiences with visiting these designers: sure, a pampered showroom with free champagne, but in reality, long wait times for the ring to be made and sometimes snobby treatment (“we never touch lab grown diamonds” even when I was planning on getting a mined diamond all along). As a result of these interactions I decided to venture to the overwhelming diamond district - and upon some googling I found out about I.D. Jewelry.
It was a different experience than what I was used to at these designers but in the best ways. Yekutiel and his team were patient with me despite me probably spending 4 hours with him over 5-6 visits from start to finish - teaching me all about various features of diamonds you wouldn’t think of beyond the 4 C’s, answering my litany of questions, and giving me plenty of advice. When I had arrived at the characteristics of the diamond I wanted, accent stones I wanted, and setting I wanted, we ended with a price that was much lower than the prices I was used to being told at many of these boutique jewelers I mentioned earlier. And to boot - after being told as long as 9 weeks at some of these designers for manufacturing time, he had the ring in my hand less than 10 days after me submitting the deposit to him (I want to say it was actually 5 days, but I don’t want them to be held to any such standards publicly!). And when I had finally proposed and the ring size I told them was too big, we brought it in to be resized, which was done within the same day.
What I originally thought was a risk going into the diamond district, ended up being a fantastic decision! ID Jewelry will be without a doubt my go-to for high end jewelry from now on!
Had an OK experience here. Definitely got a diamond that was way more affordable than what my jewelers were providing, so in that aspect they get 5 stars. It is a no-frills place, and i think that must help them keep prices down.
I knocked one star because there are different sales associates and the difference in expertise and service between them is obvious. The person who attended us struggled with simple tasks such as finding the serial number engraved on the stone, removing it from the viewing tool, and had no insight or advice, only saying “this diamond is perfect everything perfect buy this one this one very good”, which is such a flat sales pitch that it was amusing.
We ended up buying a stone that I think may have been too big because they did not have the exact specs in the exact sizes we specified in the appointment form.
They said if you want to see something specific, then ask for a specific stone with those specs rather than providing information through the form, which I find confusing because I came here to look at different stones within the ranges I provided in order to decide, so I cannot decide in advance on one stone for them to source.
So bear that in mind and call ahead to confirm that they will have what you want to see.
Would be careful here. My boyfriend and I were inside for less than 15 minutes, and the staff kept pushing for a sale when we simply wanted to try on rings and learn more. They even claimed prices would increase "next week" due to tariffs—which was untrue. The overall approach felt scammy and high-pressure. Another couple nearby had a male assistant who was also being overly pushy and they were uncomfortable. Ring shopping takes time, and people naturally visit a few places before deciding, but this store didn’t respect that. It was especially uncomfortable when, right in front of me, they asked my boyfriend when he planned to buy the ring. Overall, would avoid this place.
