Honest review - IdealofMed Honest review - a Canadian with high expectations. I had a surgery with idealofmed medical center in Istanbul last year. It was an excellent experience, friendly staff, great atmosphere, excellent doctors and helpful nurses. The head nurse was amazing in explaining the process, and very patient with my questions. Her calm demeanor and happy smile put me at ease. My surgery took around seven hours. It has been 15 months following the surgery and the result is absolutely amazing. I was almost completely bald going in, but my result on the full front part and top is excellent. It really is a night and day of a difference. They absolutely earned my trust and I expect to go back to them later this year for the crown. The reason why I chose them was because of their awards in the sector and their general reputation for their doctors and nurses. The consultation was different than other clincis. It was honest feedback, honest expectations, and not pushy or sales based. They genuinely wanted the best results for me. Even independently researching, using other platforms, and talking to previous clients, I was still hesitant to take a big step being in a foreign country alone, the outcome spoke for itself. I am more than confident that I made the right choice, excited to go back for the second procedure and I would strongly recommend them for anyone looking for a next generation hair transplant.

My procedure was done with the head of surgery in their fancy Istanbul clinic. He was assisted by 3 nurses in the surgery. The outcome now following the surgery is absolutely amazing, nobody can tell I have had a surgery. We went three guys in the same week and all the results are absolute perfect. The consultation took around 1 1/2 hour, which is excessively long in these type of surgeries as far as I understand. The clinic is absolutely spotless, it’s very clean and atmosphere and standard is better than I’ve ever seen. The surgeons are extremely good and very focused. Hotel was five star and transportation was included.

Very Happy with My Hair Transplant at Idealofmed I did a hair transplant with idealofmed about a year ago. It was a seamless process. The team was very helpful. The clinic was very calm and clean. It was in the central area and looked very modern. I met the surgeon Dr. Demirel on the operation day and we discussed my options. I wanted to do my crown but he suggested to touch on my hairline too. I asked him to draw a hairline and I liked what he came up with, so I agreed. Paras hiustensiirto Turkissa? Seuraava perustuu henkilökohtaiseen kokemukseeni potilaana Suomesta, joka kävi hiustensiirrossa Idealofmedissä Istanbulissa viime vuoden lopulla. Uskon, että aluksi on hyvä jättää ensimmäinen arvio, mutta tärkeää on myös jättää päivitysarvio, kuten nyt teen, joka kertoo kaikille, miten toipuminen etenee. Useat tuttavani Helsingistä olivat aiemmin saaneet klinikalla hammashoitoja ja hiustensiirtoja, mikä vaikutti päätökseeni valita Idealofmed. Klinikka on suurten ruotsalaisten sijoittajien omistama, ja useat tunnetut suomalaiset ovat raportoidusti käyttäneet heidän palveluitaan. Valitsin klinikan tarjoaman standardipaketin. Tämä paketti sisälsi kolme yötä viiden tähden hotellissa, kaikki kuljetukset, leikkauksen, leikkauksen jälkeiset hoidot, hoitotuotteet sekä lisäpalvelut, kuten esikonsultaatiot lääkärin kanssa, hiustutkimukset, verikokeet ja jälkihoito-ohjeistuksen. Toimenpiteen suorittavat lääkärit ovat sertifioituja Turkissa ja Yhdysvalloissa ja heillä on laaja kokemus hiustensiirroista. Alustavien konsultaatioiden aikana lääkärit selittivät toimenpiteen yksityiskohtaisesti, mikä lisäsi turvallisuuden ja luottamuksen tunnetta. Klinikan tilat ovat moderneja, puhtaita ja hyvin ylläpidettyjä. Henkilökunta ja hoitajat ovat ammattitaitoisia ja kokeneita. Klinikalla työskentelee myös nordic-henkilöstöä, mikä helpottaa kommunikointia ja antaa turvallisuuden tunteen kansainvälisille potilaille. Toimenpide hoidettiin järjestelmällisesti, ja jokainen vaihe, follikkelien keräämisestä niiden istuttamiseen, selitettiin yksityiskohtaisesti. Toimenpiteen aikana epämukavuus oli vähäistä, ja henkilökunta osoitti tarkkuutta ja huolellisuutta koko prosessin ajan. Noin kuusi kuukautta leikkauksen jälkeen tulokset ovat jo erittäin tyydyttäviä. Hiustiheys on hyvä, hiukset kasvavat oikeaan suuntaan ja peittävyys on kattava, myös alueilla, joita pidin aiemmin haastavina. Vaikka siirrettyjen hiusten täysi kypsyminen tapahtuu yleensä noin 12 kuukauden kuluttua leikkauksesta, kuuden kuukauden tulokset ovat jo vahvat ja luonnollisen näköiset, mikä on rohkaisevaa. Hiustensiirron toipumisen aikajana (potilaan näkökulma, kuuden kuukauden kohdalla) Omasta näkökulmastani toipumisprosessi on seurannut tyypillisiä lääketieteellisiä ohjeita, ja henkilökohtaiset havainnot ovat seuraavat: Päivät 1–10:Koin pientä turvotusta ja punoitusta päänahassa, mutta kipu oli vähäistä ja hallittavissa. Klinikan henkilökunta antoi ohjeet päänahan huolelliseen hoitoon ja kipulääkitykseen tarpeen mukaan. Ensimmäiset jälkitarkastukset ja tarvittavat verikokeet tehtiin tänä aikana. Päivä 10: Toisen viikon aikana päänahkani jatkoi paranemistaan. Viimeiset pienet kuoret alkoivat irrota, ja punoitus sekä herkkyys vähenivät merkittävästi. Kuukaudet 1–2: Ensimmäisten kahden kuukauden aikana siirrettyjä hiuksia putosi, mikä on normaali osa toipumisprosessia (“shock loss”). Toisen kuukauden kohdalla aloin huomata ensimmäisiä merkkejä uuden hiuksen kasvusta. Kuukaudet 3–6: Kolmannesta kuukaudesta alkaen uudet hiukset näkyivät yhä enemmän. Kuuden kuukauden kohdalla hiustiheys ja kasvusuunta ovat jo erittäin hyvät. Peittävyys on kattava myös aiemmin haastavina pidetyillä alueilla. Vaikka hiusten täysi kypsyminen tapahtuu yleensä 12 kuukauden kohdalla, olen miellyttävän yllättynyt siitä, kuinka luonnollisilta ja vahvoilta tulokset jo nyt näyttävät. Kuukaudet 7–12 (odotettavissa): Lääketieteellisten suositusten mukaan hiusten täysi kypsyminen tapahtuu yleensä noin 12 kuukauden kuluttua. Tämän jälkeen hiusten tiheys, paksuus ja kasvu suuntautuvat lopulliseen, luonnolliseen tilaansa. Tämä aikajana perustuu henkilökohtaiseen kokemukseeni. Klinikan ohjeiden noudattaminen on ollut tärkeää optimaalisten tulosten saavuttamiseksi. Henkilökohtaisen kokemukseni perusteella olen erittäin tyytyväinen Idealofmedin tarjoamaan hoitoon ja tuloksiin. Kokenut henkilöstö, laadukkaat tilat, ammattimainen henkilökunta ja kattava potilashuolto tekevät klinikasta erottuvan. Why I Chose Ideal of Med for My Hair Transplant in Istanbul I’m really happy I chose Ideal of med for my hair transplant. I went into the process cautiously because there are so many clinics in Istanbul, but after doing a lot of research, this clinic felt more professional and personal than most of the others I spoke with. What stood out to me most was the involvement of Dr. Devrim Demirel. From the beginning, he wasn’t just supervising from a distance he was directly involved in the key parts of the procedure. During the consultation, he carefully evaluated my donor area, discussed my expectations, and explained what would realistically look natural in the long term. He also personally designed my hairline, making small but important adjustments to enssure it would suit my face and age well over time. On the day of the surgery, he performed the incisions himself, which gave me a lot of reassurance. Knowing that a doctor was handling such a critical step made the process feel far more precise and trustworthy. It also showed that he genuinely cared about the technical and aesthetic outcome, rather than simply overseeing a team. The clinic itself was also very impressive. It was modern, spotless, and had a high-end feel without being intimidating. The VIP rooms were comfortable and private, which made the overall experience much less stressful, especially on the surgery day. The staff were friendly, organized, and constantly checking to make sure I was comfortable. Nothing felt rushed or chaotic. Hårtransplantation med IdealofMed, Istanbul – Min erfarenhet Hårtransplantation med IdealofMed, Istanbul – Min erfarenhet Nu, 12 månader efter min hårtransplantation på IdealofMed i Istanbul, är jag djupt imponerad av resultatet. Hårlinjen ser naturlig ut, växtriktningen är korrekt och tätheten är redan mycket bra. Det smälter in lika sömlöst som en röd stuga i ett svenskt sommarlandskap – det ser helt enkelt ut som normalt hår, vilket var precis vad jag hoppades på. Skillnaden mot innan är dramatisk, och jag rekommenderar starkt IdealofMed till alla som överväger ingreppet. Själva processen kändes mycket välorganiserad från allra första början. Operationsdagen var lång men hanterades på ett lugnt och strukturerat sätt. Personalen var professionell och lätt att kommunicera med. Allt förklarades enkelt och tydligt, och ingreppet flöt på smidigt trots några vanliga, obekväma stunder under operationen. Kliniken gav direkt ett starkt intryck med sin lyxiga atmosfär, men det som verkligen utmärkte sig var en fenomenal hygien. Hela anläggningen var oklanderligt ren överallt, och den höga standarden hölls konsekvent under hela min tid där. Jag hölls informerad hela tiden, så jag kände mig aldrig stressad. We initially researched many clinics and chose this one after speaking with previous patients and having an online consultation. I’m now around 8 months post-op, and here’s my excellent experience and results so far. I chose the clinic because of its reputation, all-inclusive setup, and experience with international patients. Everything was well organized from start to finish, including hotel, transfers, consultations, and the surgery itself. The procedure was done by Dr. Akkaya, who is ISHRS-registered, which was a big factor in my decision. That level of qualification gave me extra confidence when choosing the clinic. The clinic is also certified by the Ministry of Health, and the doctors are certified by the Ministry of Health as well. The facilities are excellent — modern, extremely clean, and very well maintained, easily meeting high international standards. The staff and doctors were fantastic throughout the entire process. The level of hygiene, professionalism, and organization honestly felt better than what I’ve experienced in Scandinavia. Since the transplant, I’ve also returned twice over the last months for PRP and stem cell treatments, which were easy to arrange and professionally handled each time. I also had a few well-known friends from Denmark and Sweden who had previously been treated at the clinic, which further influenced my decision to choose them.
