I highly recommend Ice Rose! Barry is knowledgeable, skilled, kind, and honest. Barry & his crew trimmed back trees along our utility lines. He did a wonderful job for a reasonable price. I had put this off for quite awhile, and it’s such a relief not to worry about branches coming down in heavy snow or high winds. As a queer woman of color running a small farm, it can be tough to find contractors who are respectful. Barry is a joy to work with: he recognized my experience with this land and shared his professional expertise. He is a great listener and communicated clearly. We worked really well together and I look forward to collaborating with Ice Rose on some bigger projects!

We had a flood in our basement from several cracks in our aging bulkhead. Barry came up with a fantastic solution and did the job in two days! He was prompt, extremely talented with his heavy machinery and left our back yard better than when he started! I can’t recommend him highly enough! I highly recommend this company. Barry did a fabulous job on our property. We had a few acres of heavily wooded land that we needed cleared. He created a contract with a visual / aerial map of the property identifying the boundaries for his project. The project started on time, the machines stayed there, active, until the job was done and there was no monetary creep. The property was left very tidy, the rocks were picked up and moved to somewhere that made sense. It’s difficult to describe the stump pile (we chose to leave it on the property) but he created a focal point at the end of the property, it’s terrific, very creative. The result is way beyond my expectations. He’s a smart, hard working guy who knows his stuff and takes a lot of pride in his work – and he has all of the contacts needed to get the job done properly. Very professional company.

Barry was fitting me in for a hay delivery (always the best quality hay) on a Friday night when I inquired about his help fixing an underground break in an outdoor spigot. Because of his experience with livestock, he understood the importance of this feature on my farm and fit me in immediately. The problem was resolved quickly and efficiently, the next day, in terrible weather conditions no less. His pricing was very fair. I’d recommend him to anyone.

Ice Rose recently removed my horses’ manure from my property and it was no small job! Barry was quick, efficient, polite, and professional. Fairly priced, and fit us in very fast on his schedule. I had a horse trailer in the way and when i expressed I couldn’t move it with my car, he easily moved it over and even put it back after the job. I would recommend this company all day long! I’m hoping to use them for some other landscaping related work on my property at some point as well. Regardless, I won’t call anyone else for the manure pile.
