Ready to travel with Iceland Tours again! From beginning to end, Iceland Tours arranged for an awesome experience. We chose the Ultimate Day Tripper package with two optional excursions. Iceland Tours staff were helpful and responsive during the planning phase. We had no need to contact them during the trip because everything had been so well planned and communicated prior to our leaving for Iceland. I had received (and printed out) all vouchers (for hotel, buses, entry into optional excursions, etc.) ahead of time, which gave me peace of mind. My name was on all of the rosters, so the folks in Iceland were expecting us and made sure we got on the correct bus, etc. For our first experience in Iceland, the Ultimate Day Tripper was a perfect package. Next time, I'll be more adventurous and work with them to plan a more "independent" tour of the country. I am thinking about booking another trip through Iceland Tours, this time to see the aurora in March! I am 100% confident that no matter which option we choose, Iceland Tours will help to make our next trip a wonderful experience.

We Highly Recommend A Self Driving Tour Through Iceland Tours! We booked our visit through the Iceland Tours easy to navigate website. We opted for the 7 days self driving tour even though we needed to stay 8 days. As easy and efficient it was to use their site, the real value was our agent, Paolo. Through his constant communication and attention to detail, we were able to extend our visit by one day and were given a detailed, tailor made itinerary that fully enabled us to get the most out of our visit. Our car rental and accommodations were all expertly arranged and our activities were scheduled so we could get the best experience in conjunction to our drives. He even caught and corrected a scheduling mistake I made at the beginning of my reservation! I strongly recommend working with Iceland Tours! A self driving tour around this beautiful country gives you a fully immersive and totally enjoyable visit. Regarding some highlights: I highly recommend the walking food tour upon arriving! It’s a great was to see the city, get some background on Icelandic history and culture and sample some amazing food! Even better than Reykjavik was seeing the majestic beauty of the rest of the country! Vik was fantastic. Be sure to stop at the many waterfalls along the way! The southeast coast along the largest glacier was breathtaking. Definitely book a glacier boat tour. We traveled toward the center of the country toward Laugarvatn to the highlight of our week- a throughly relaxing dip in the hot spring pools at Fontana Spa. Try the homemade geothermal rye bread baked in the hot spring! We then drove west toward the golden circle and took the Láki Whale Watching tour to see a pod of dolphins and a family of Orcas! We ended our week going to the museums, galleries and shops of Reykjavik on a picturesque (though admittedly sometimes rare) sunny and warm summer day. On that note, one helpful tip is to pack a good waterproof and wind proof rain jacket, some quality hiking pants and a pair of comfortable waterproof hiking shoes. It gives you more versatility to get the most out of your visit. I want to extend a huge amount of thanks and appreciation to Paolo and the Iceland Tours team!

An Exceptional Driving Tour Iceland is a beautiful place to visit. We did the 8 day Ring Road tour and saw all that we came to see (except for the Puffins) and did all that we came to do. The waterfalls and hot pots were excellent. Blue Lagoon is worth every cent and Vok had exceptional waters. The flip over Iceland was super cool and the foods and cities were great.

Highly recommend Iceland Tours!! We booked our self-drive tour around Iceland ring road through Iceland Tours. Our travel agent, Gudrun, booked the entire trip and sent us a detailed plan for 6 days and 7 nights, along with all the hotel and car reservation confirmations. Then life happened!! 2 hours before we were about to head to the airport for our flight from US to Reykjavik, we found out that our flight was canceled due to a technical issue. It was already past regular business hours in Iceland. As we had paid for the trip upfront, we spent next serval hours trying to find alternate flights. None were available that day. The earliest available flight was next day, but that would delay our arrival in Iceland by a day. We contacted Iceland Tours on their emergency contact phone number. The person we spoke with assured that a travel agent will call us back first thing the next morning. Sure enough, we received an email overnight followed by a phone call in the morning. Our agent Gudrun gave us a couple of options - skip a stop to shorten the tour by a day or move the entire trip out by a day but that would cost unknown amount of cancelation fees. We chose the latter. She promised that she would get back to us before we headed to the airport the next day. A couple of hour before we left for the airport, Gudrun told us that she rearranged all our reservations at no additional cost and got us a hotel and car upgrades in the process. It turned out to be one of the best vacations of our lifetime. I highly recommend Iceland Tours and specifically Gudrun to anyone who would want to book a Iceland vacation. They are very professional and they would go out of their way to help their customers if needed. They are simply the best.

A remarkably competent and professional tour provider who really manage every detail and ensure the very best experience My full island tour was very well planned and there were no problems at all suggesting that Iceland Tours are a very experienced and competent tour organiser. The communications with my contact, Paolo, both before and during the tour were swift, helpful, friendly and to the point. I was pleased to have a tour that was very full though with options to include or ignore elements along the way. Being able to manage a free day for whale watching in the north was particularly welcome. The tour notes were very clear and easy to understand. I enjoyed planning each day the evening before. The 'comfort' hotels and guesthouses were varied but all were clean, welcoming and of good quality, certainly at least high three star standard. Locations were good. I would be very happy to stay in any of them again. Iceland is a an interesting and varied country with the relative isolation and fishing focus of the west and north but a less welcome focus on tourism in the south close to Reykjavik. However, wherever I was the local people were very friendly and welcoming and I enjoyed the overall experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend Iceland Tours for anyone wanting to see the best of this beautiful country.

A great tour of Iceland! We took a 9-day tour with Nordic Visitor. The itinerary, the accommodations, the meals were all excellent and unique. We could never have covered and seen so much on our own. We were on a group tour with 12 other people on a small mini-bus. Our guide was excellent and knowledgeable, and funny! We went all over the island. It was great! We would not hesitate to travel with Nordic Visitor again and recommend it to others.

Iceland eight day Ring Everything was prepared for us! Car rental, car insurance, hotels, thermal spas. Our daily drives also included spectacular places of interest to see. Iceland Tours was fantastic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Go see Iceland!

Amazing Iceland Our trip in Iceland was a success, we enjoy the whole trip, every region in Iceland has their own beauty and with amazing landscapes. We strict followed the guide sent by Iceland Tours ( previous preparation was fundamental ) and we manage to visit the main attractions proposed. Unfortunately, we missed the Gullfoss waterfall due to the tight schedule to be at 5 o’clock in the Lava tunnel. Most part of the hotels, mainly the ones in the country side, were in wonderful locations with great breakfast. Special remark for the support given by our travel consultant, Paolo Di Russo, with prompt replies in several situations either during the trip preparation or during our stay in Iceland . Thank for your support that allow us to spend great days in the beautiful Iceland.

Iceland tours: a great customer service Booking with Iceland tours is an excellent choice. Their customer service is outstanding throughout the booking process. While we were on a 10 self drive on the Ring Rd.,we received 2 emails with important travel information regarding weather and volcanic activity. These issues did not affect our travel but it was great be be made aware. I would definitely use Iceland tours again!

Ultimate Iceland Ring Road and West Fjords Adventure Iceland is more than Reykjavik- it’s a vast, epic, stunningly unique landscape. Having visited Iceland on BBC a short tour 5 years ago we wanted to explore this country in more detail. So, after much deliberation we chose Iceland Tours and their 19 day “Ultimate Iceland Ring Road & Westfjords Adventure”. From the very start of booking they were most professional and we felt in safe hands. Throughout the trip we were sent details regarding the current volcanic activity with links to various official bodies which had more in depth details.
