I am still completing my Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis and Strategic Psychotherapy and have just finished the last of my practical workshops. Of all the RTO training courses I have completed over the last 30+ years (including Uni and TAFE), I have found this one to be the best as far as setting you up for success. The structure is well thought out and the content is fantastic. The trainers have been so approachable and supportive, and they clearly know their stuff. The online component of the training has fostered a real sense of community with my fellow students. I was concerned that I would feel isolated doing an online course but that has been far from the case. Bravo IAP - I made the right choice!

Amazing content and high quality support. Would recommend to anyone interested in Hypnotherapy. There are many options to study at different levels. Courses allow the capacity to fit into full-time work life. The best decision I ever made.

The learning content (both self-study and online classroom sessions), and the model are top notch. Observing demonstrations of this form of hypnotherapy and psychotherapy were evidence of the effectiveness of this course. Student Support is great, and Gordon's training, stories, demonstrations and support are great. I recommend this school of hypnotherapy.

Edit of review update as of 11/02/2026 - I am still waiting for my refund as i was not able to get a anyone to do role plays with i do wish that they tell you this and highlight it at the start of the course before paying up front for it. My advice to anyone is simple make sure you have someone you can do it with prior to signing up to do this course they are quick to ask for payment but like me in my current position where by i want a partial refund it falls on deaf ears. Make sure you do your own research prior to signing up with this company as there are many out there that do it as well. And i repeat have someone with you from the start to do role plays with if i had known what i know now i would not of done this. Will be posting up another review after i find out if they refund me my money.

The IAP course hosted by Gordon "Young" makes you younger in biological age as he takes you on a journey of mental cleanup and explains the importance of "Observer" in our lives. It is Neuro-science made easy for me. The $ value you get out of the course is immense as the course changes you to a better being state. He is the "Nagual" of NLP

I am completing Diploma in Strategic Psychotherapy & clinical Hypnosis & NLP practitioner. The course has been absolutely brilliant. I find the NLP practitioner course to be the icing on the cake of my current studies, cementing my learning thus far. I intend to enrol into NLP Masters to expand my practice tools.. Gordon Young conducts great sessions, the tutors are wonderful to deal with and the support staff exceptional. Can not speak highly enough of the IAP overall.
