I used Humbug Holiday Lighting this year for my Christmas light installation. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company. They were professional and courteous. The communication is excellent and my house was beautiful. I will definitely be using this company every year!

A year ago, I left this company a 5-star review at their request. One year later, I’m stunned by how far the quality has declined.
We had permanent lawn lighting installed over the summer, so in the fall I called to confirm we only needed gutter lights on the front of the house (we had pre-registered for the service the previous January). They refused to adjust pricing despite the reduced scope, citing a minimum charge—which I understood. What followed was unacceptable:
1. I asked them to cancel our installation because it wasn’t worth the cost.
2. Two months later, installers showed up and began installing lights. After calling the office, the price was reduced by $150.
3. They failed to note from the previous year that we have gutter covers and installed lights on the shingles instead of the gutters. After the first snowfall, all the lights were buried.
4. The timer didn’t work. I requested service, but no one came—I replaced it myself.
5. Mid-season, six lights went out. I requested replacements; no one ever came.
6. Despite all this, now that the season has ended, I’ve received repeated renewal emails. I’ve asked five times in two weeks to be removed from the mailing list and only recently received an apology.
7. This company is affiliated with Mosquito Hunters, a service we’ve used and trusted for years. This lighting service experience was so poor that we are now looking for a new mosquito control provider as well.
Overall, this was a frustrating and deeply disappointing experience.

Five starts for Humbug Holiday Lighting!! From the initial consultation and design review to another successful installation, Nick and his team have been great to work with. My granddaughter loved the lights and Santa had a beacon to find the Pastor home again this year! I highly recommend Humbug Holiday Lighting.

Humbug is awesome! The 2025 Christmas season was the first time we used them. They did a nice job recommending a light layout. The installed before their original promise date and uninstalled quickly after the holidays. We did several price comparisons and Humbug was by far the best value. Not to mention, they are just a pleasure to work with. We will be using them for years to come!
