I rarely post reviews unless they're warranted, in this case a 5/5 100% is. I was nervous choosing a solar/battery installer due to there being so many companies out there that have come and gone since it's inception, I chose Huma as they were an Octopus recommended partner who were willing to work on my old slate roof where Octopus themselves would not. From the first meeting Rich, Rich & Mike at Huma were brilliant - Designs were drawn up, technical were discussed at length & once we were agreed scaffolding was up and work began very quickly. The work throughout was completed to a very high standard with excellent communications, but what impressed me most was how Rich handled a problem with the install. Through no fault of his own, we had to have some of the work re-done and I have never been more impressed by a business owner going above and beyond to sort this problem out for me. Rich is a man of his word & organized to have everything rectified and the install exactly how I wanted it all along. I can't praise him or the team at Huma enough, nor can I recommend them enough. Use this company for your renewables install - You will not regret it! I have already recommended them to family and friends & will continue to do so. If I need more renewables work, I won't go anywhere else. Rich - Thank you again to you and your team, we very much appreciate everything you've done for us on this install, I know it was far from a simple install to get it how we wanted it, but we couldn't be more pleased/impressed. HuMa installed solar panels, batteries, upgraded radiators and an ASHP to our property. From quotation to completion the HuMa team were knowledgeable, efficient and professional. The logistics of having various trades on site was organised efficiently and the entire install was completed within 3 working days. The team responded to the few minor snags post install, straight away. Overall we are really happy with our new system and highly recommend HuMa Renewables.

Really good experience and they fully understood what I was trying to achieve with the solar and battery system. Good knowledge on the products and good they suggested the G99 install straight away which is what I wanted. Some other installer were pushing G98 so they could get the system in quicker. They did all the G99 paperwork and install was nice and smooth and a tidy job. Had the system in for a few months now and no issues to report, would recommend.

Richard was prompt, thorough, and incredibly helpful. His patient and trustworthy approach, with no hard selling, was a pleasure. The installation was arranged with an extremely quick turnaround. The installation team worked tirelessly, cheerfully, and didn't leave until the job was finished. I couldn't rate them any higher. Overall, it was an outstanding and positive experience with excellent customer service. I would highly recommend them.

Why HuMa? After many “quotes” from leading companies the team at HuMa understood what I needed to achieve. My installation was “None Standard” multiple roofs with differences in available space and access. From my first meeting with Mike Clement, he understood the challenges and also understood what I needed to achieve. In simple terms – the most efficient, generation and storage system available. Ecoflow PowerOcean was presented within their offerings. I was informed of the benefits based on Storage Capacity, Warranty and Integration to Energy Supplier Dynamic tariffs a major benefit. Richard Hughes and Richard May undertake business based on an honest, none committal approach for the customer “You pay when you are happy with our work”. Too many companies do not adopt this simple manner of doing business. This provides a strong level of confidence that the price, quality of their products plus their pre and post installation service is far above others in in the market. HuMa provided great levels of communication, step by step they explained what I was required to provide, what they would provide along with updates to the progress of the order to when I could expect installation. Their installation teams were very prompt, polite and at all points asked what the customer wanted, they suggested options and also solved problems during the installation. At every point I had the capability to contact HuMa. Scott and Bobby completed the installation in three days and their work was excellent. The system HUMA installed was 18 x 450-watt panels with an EcoFlow PowerOcean 6kw Inverter plus 3 x 5.1Kw batteries. I am seeing at peak circa 7.3kw of generation (16 panels) on average 23kWh per day. Charges have gone from £38.00 per week to £5.00 – that will be offset when my feed in tariff is setup. The integration with Dynamic Energy Tariffs allows the customer to select the best Import and Export tariffs based on their usage model. For me its simple “Store when prices are low and use when prices are high”, I don’t need to worry about changing options EcoFlow does that for me every 30 minutes. If you want a different approach to Solar systems then make sure you get the best advice, best level of service and the best system to make the most of your investment. To answer the question of “Why HuMa?” Simple answer is “Why not”.

12 panels and 10kWHr battery installed within a day – Very neat job – Site left tidy – Our solar now generating over 90% of our electricity. A great team. Our detached garage roof faces South East and it is therefore ideal for solar panels. After a long time looking into solar we took the plunge and got 6 quotes. We quickly shortlisted to two possible suppliers who offered different products but were a similar price. We chose HuMa because we liked the EcoFlow system and especially the advanced reporting tool that is part of the system. As well as the equipment itself a major consideration for us was how a cable between the garage and the house would be installed. Richard, the Technical Director of HuMa made a special visit to discuss the routing of the cable and we agreed the best location for the battery unit. We also knew that somewhere under the drive there was a water pipe, electricity supply to the garage and a pipe for the central heating oil. Mark came with special equipment to track each of these and recommend the best route for the new cable. The installation was a smooth operation with the equipment arriving at 08.30 and the installation team shortly after. Despite it raining for most of the day the installation went very well – until ground under the drive was found to be impenetrable compacted rubble and bricks. Within a couple of hours the problem was solved when a digger was brought in. Problem solved. It is now a week since the system was installed and the combination of our solar panels generating and the battery storing power for use whenever required we have generated 95% of our own electricity and that includes a day when it rained all day. We are delighted with the system. The tablet and app on my phone tell us exactly how much power the system is delivering and optimise the power we generate and minimise the need to take power from the grid. We would like to thank the team at HuMa. Special thanks to Bobby who did the electrical installation - very neat, Jimmy who fitted the panels on the roof, Oliver and Joe who turned up at short notice with a digger when called out by Richard who co-ordinated the install.

Fantastic Solar Panel and Battery Solution. Great service from Start to Finish picked these guys as they seemed so on the ball from the start. Two Richards and Mike absolutely exceptional from start to finish with immense patience and professionalism. Kept me informed on a day to day basis, the installers were sooo professional! Promise you will be in safe hands with this company. 16 panels and two batteries and the benefit is simply instant.

Thinking about having solar panels we had six various quotes from different company’s.Mike the rep from HuMa came to assess what we could have,Richard Hughes then came talk to us in depth about everything a very professional and knowledgeable person. The installation team were very pleasant and hardworking ,installation of electric's ,battery and inverter took around five hours.The team left everything clean and tidy. Any questions/queries we had were answered promptly.We definitely give the customer service 10/10. We would highly recommend HuMa Renewables as they are very knowledgeable in this field plus all equipment/consumables they use are top class. We found the company exceptional from start to finish.

Very grateful for the excellent job HuMa renewables have made on our solar installation. We opted to go with HuMa after speaking to a number of companies as the staff were very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Everything progressed as promised and it felt that nothing was too much trouble for Mike and Rich who looked after us throughout. The installation itself looks great and the electrician has done a fantastic job. I feel that it is much tidier job than similar installations I have seen elsewhere. I'd be very happy to recommend HuMa to our friends and family and look forward to receiving our MCS certification through so we can begin earning from our exported excess energy. In summary, great team, great price, great product.
